Magnetic Study of Nitro Group [PDF]
Abstract The magnetic susceptibilities of several disubstituted aromatic nitro compounds were determined by Curie retorsion method. The contribution of the (NO2)1+ to the diamagnetic susceptibility was evaluated by the method suggested by Yang, taking Angus’ modified ionic values.

Terminal groups on Cu porphyrins modulate the electronic states of single‐atom Cu centers through a long‐range electronic effect, without altering the Cu coordination geometry.
