Effect of different nitrogen levels on yield components, yield and nitrogen use efficiency of two lentil cultivars in rainfed conditions [PDF]
IntroductionLentil (Lens culinaris Medic.) is an important grain legume adapted to cool climates. It is cultivated on 155700 hectares in Iran with 94.7 % of this area under rainfed conditions.

RESPONSE OF WHEAT PRODUCTIVITY TO IRRIGATION REGIMES AND NITROGEN FERTILIZATION LEVELS [PDF]
Wheat is the main cereal crop in Egypt. The gap between production and consumption is about 60%. Research efforts are needed to reduce this gap, therefore; the objective of this work was to study the effect of three water regimes as irrigation at 45%, 60% and 70% depletion of the available soil moisture, and three nitrogen fertilization levels on two ...

Acute caffeine treatment protects the developing retina from ischemia‐induced cell death
Caffeine reduces cell death in the developing retina under ischemia (OGD). This effect does not involve BDNF upregulation or antioxidant pathways (NRF2/VEGF). Neuroprotection occurs mainly through adenosine A2A receptor antagonism, decreasing glutamate release and excitotoxicity, highlighting caffeine's potential as an acute neuroprotective agent in ...

Magnetic‐field‐assisted CVD of heterometallic single‐source precursors modulates thin‐film surface electronic structure and interfacial charge transfer. Field‐grown (Cobalt ferrite‐1T)CF‐1T films exhibit stabilized electronic states, lower kinetic barriers, and markedly enhanced nitrate‐to‐ammonia electrocatalysis versus (Cobalt ferrite‐0T) CF‐0T ...

Tandem organic solar cells with optimized ternary acceptor engineering achieved a power conversion efficiency of 15.53% and enabled a high‐voltage mini‐module (Voc 6.11 V). Integration into a bias‐free PV‐EC system further demonstrated efficient solar‐to‐ammonia (STA) conversion (97% Faradaic Efficiency, 4± 2% STA efficiency), highlighting scalable ...

Automated Analysis of High Levels of Nitrogen in Liquid Fertilizers
Abstract A thermometric analyzer was evaluated for analysis of individual samples and for continuous monitoring of high levels of ammonia nitrogen and urea nitrogen in the production of concentrated liquid fertilizers. Levels of nitrogen determined were 7—8% ammonia nitrogen and 14—16% urea nitrogen.

The incorporation of nondigested ECM and synthetic polymers into a co‐electrospinning system enables the decoupling of bioactivity and mechanical properties within a single wrap. This technique is used to develop a multifunctional bone wrap that achieves augmented membrane durability, sustained infection control, and enhanced vascularity for use in ...
