Cangrelor Bridge for Repeat Cesarean After Third Trimester Percutaneous Coronary Intervention for Total Occlusion NSTEMI

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 6, June 2026.
Visual Summary, case timeline of non‐ST‐elevation MI with PCI followed by cangrelor bridge for classical cesarean delivery. Symptom Denial and Cultural Constraints: A Qualitative Exploration of Pre‐Hospital Delay Determinants in Myocardial Infarction Patients in China

open access: yesClinical Cardiology, Volume 49, Issue 6, June 2026.
This study reveals that heart attack patients often dangerously delay emergency care due to unrecognized symptoms, passive endurance, and traditional cultural constraints, like fearing to burden families. Crucially, family involvement acts as a double‐edged sword, either accelerating or further delaying life‐saving treatment.

Association of the TyG Index, Cardiometabolic Index, and Epicardial Adipose Tissue With Coronary Artery Disease

open access: yesClinical Cardiology, Volume 49, Issue 6, June 2026.
This study demonstrates that the TyG index, CMI, and EATi are independently associated with CAD. CMI partially mediates the relationship between TyG and CAD, whereas EATi contributes through an independent pathway. These findings suggest that integrating metabolic and adiposity‐related markers may improve cardiovascular risk assessment.

Altered spectrum of nitroglycerin action in long-term treatment: nitroglycerin-specific venous tolerance with maintenance of arterial vasodepressor potency.

open access: yes, 1986
The study of venodilator tolerance to nitroglycerin has been complicated by reflex compensation and by problems in analyzing venous tone in the presence of multiple determinants of venous pressure.
