A fusion positioning method for underground personnel based on UWB and PDR

open access: yesGong-kuang zidonghua
Most existing fusion positioning methods for ultra-wideband (UWB) and pedestrian dead reckoning (PDR) ignore the correction of positioning errors in non line of sight (NLOS) environments.

Porphyrin‐Geländer–Helical Conjugated Banister Type Porphyrin Dyads

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
Porphyrin arrays go chiral–A porphyrin Geländer macrocycle represents the intriguing prototype architecture of helically chiral butadiyne‐linked porphyrin arrays. This study combines synthetic, spectroscopic, and computational methods to shed light on its structure, chiroptical properties, and tunability, highlighting its promise for advancing ...

Enhanced Nonlinear Optical Absorption Properties and Carrier Dynamics of Violet Phosphorene by Oxidation for Ultrafast Photonic Applications

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
This study investigates the effects of oxidation treatment on the nonlinear optical absorption properties and carrier dynamics of two‐dimensional violet phosphorene (VP), elucidating the underlying physical mechanisms. Furthermore, ultrashort laser pulses are achieved utilizing the enhanced saturation absorption and shortened carrier relaxation ...

Healthy Snacks Elaborated With Decoction Residues of Hibiscus sabdariffa L: Physical and Sensory Characteristics

open access: yesFood Chemistry International, EarlyView.
Healthy snacks formulated with food by‐products are gaining interest within the food industry. Decoction residues of Hibiscus sabdariffa (roselle) retain thermostable polyphenols. Extruded snacks enriched with roselle showed a reduction in the expansion index as the roselle concentration increased.

Health Outcomes in Children and Adolescents With Overweight or Obesity Exposed to Physical Activity Interventions: An Umbrella Review Covering Over 1200 Trials

open access: yesObesity Reviews, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Childhood and adolescent obesity poses health risks. Standardizing outcome measurements in physical activity interventions enhances evidence comparability. This study summarizes health outcomes reported in systematic reviews and classifies them under an existing taxonomy as a preliminary step toward the future development of a core outcome set.

Fluorescence Properties and Mg2+ Selectivity of Aryl‐Alkynyl Derivatives of the o‐Aminophenoltriacetate (APTRA) Ligand

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, Volume 32, Issue 10, 9 March 2026.
It is a challenge to improve the selectivity of high‐denticity ligands for Mg2+ over Ca2+. We show that in aryl‐alkynyl derivatives of APTRA, electron‐withdrawing substituents lower the binding affinity for Ca2+ more than Mg2+, making the ligand more selective for Mg2+.

Effective Penetration of the Oxidized Keratin‐Rebonding Materials Into Hair Shafts Based on Charge Conversion

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, Volume 15, Issue 12, 25 March 2026.
We have developed a smart hair‐repair ingredient based on β‐carboxylic acid amide that undergoes negative‐to‐positive charge conversion under mildly acidic conditions. The initial negative charge facilitates deep penetration into the hair fiber, while the subsequent positive charge enables re‐bonding with sulfonate groups in damaged hair keratin.

Automated NLO calculations for asymmetric hadron-hadron collisions in MadGraph5_aMC@NLO

open access: yesThe European Physical Journal A
We have extended {\tt MadGraph5_aMC@NLO} capabilities by implementing computations for asymmetric hadron-hadron collisions, including proton-nucleus, pion-hadron or nucleus-nucleus collisions in order to obtain a tool for automated perturbative computations of cross sections (or ratios of cross sections) in asymmetric reactions at next-to-leading (NLO)
