Cost effective power amplifiers for pulsed NMR sensors [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of 2nd International Electronic Conference on Sensors and Applications, 2015
Sensors that measure magnetic resonance relaxation times are increasingly finding applications in areas such as food and drink authenticity and waste water treatment control. Modern permanent magnets are used to provide the static magnetic field in many commercial instruments and advances in electronics, such as field programmable gate arrays, have ...

A synthetic benzoxazine dimer derivative targets c‐Myc to inhibit colorectal cancer progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Benzoxazine dimer derivatives bind to the bHLH‐LZ region of c‐Myc, disrupting c‐Myc/MAX complexes, which are evaluated from SAR analysis. This increases ubiquitination and reduces cellular c‐Myc. Impairing DNA repair mechanisms is shown through proteomic analysis.

Preliminary Study of Poly(Tetrahydrofurfuryl Acrylate) Thin Film as a Potential Material of Ion Selective Electrodes: The Case of Nitrate Ion-Selective Electrode

open access: yesIndonesian Journal of Chemistry, 2020
A preliminary study on the use of a photocurable poly-tetrahydrofurfuryl acrylate (pTHFA) has been successfully performed as an alternative membrane for application in the Ion-Selective Electrode (ISE) sensors such as Nitrate-ISE.

Embedded NMR Sensor to Monitor Compressive Strength Development and Pore Size Distribution in Hydrating Concrete

open access: yesItalian National Conference on Sensors, 2013
In cement-based materials porosity plays an important role in determining their mechanical and transport properties. This paper describes an improved low–cost embeddable miniature NMR sensor capable of non-destructively measuring evaporable water loss ...

Hands‐on protocol for preparing water‐soluble fractions from agri‐food samples for NMR‐based metabolomics analysis

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This research protocol outlines a workflow for nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR)‐based metabolomics in the agri‐food sector. Using two case studies—strawberry leaves (solid matrix) and wine (liquid matrix)—it details the procedures for sample preparation, data acquisition, and processing.

First Measurements of Surface Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Signals in a Grounded Bipole

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, 2019
Surface nuclear magnetic resonance (surface NMR) soundings are geophysical techniques that offer direct detection of groundwater. Ordinary surface NMR soundings are achieved with a wire loop that acts as both transmitter and receiver.

On-Site Measurement of Fat and Protein Contents in Milk Using Mobile NMR Technology

open access: yesMolecules, 2022
Robust and easy-to-use NMR sensor technology is proposed for accurate, on-site determination of fat and protein contents in milk. The two parameters are determined using fast consecutive 1H and 35Cl low-field NMR experiments on milk samples upon the 1:1 ...

Antibiofilm activity of a chionodracine‐derived peptide by NMR‐based metabolomics of cell‐free supernatant of Acinetobacter baumannii clinical strains

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
KHS‐Cnd peptide is able to impair biofilm formation and disaggregate mature biofilms in Acinetobacter baumannii clinical isolates. Differences in extracellular metabolites reflect changes in biofilm metabolism due to KHS‐Cnd treatment. Among the differentially represented extracellular metabolites upon KHS‐Cnd treatment, the significantly altered ...
