The EU integration is in deadlock. We face several crises, like growth, regulation, climate, migration or cohesion. The measures of Euro governance consolidated the single currency, but the long-term stabilisation calls for the solution of the debt ...

Actuators for a space manipulator [PDF]
The robotic manipulator can be decomposed into distinct subsytems. One particular area of interest of mechanical subsystems is electromechanical actuators (or drives). A drive is defined as a motor with an appropriate transmission.

Donor‐derived tdTomato+ mature hepatocytes were FACS‐isolated and transplanted into Fah−/− host mice. During regeneration, these cells convert into proliferative, unipotent Afp+ rHeps. Their plasticity is governed by a PPARγ/AFP‐dependent metabolic switch, segregating into pro‐proliferative Afplow and pro‐survival Afphigh subpopulations.

Paying for public spending: is there a role for earmarked taxes? [PDF]
Tax earmarking, or hypothecation, refers to the assigning of receipts either from a single tax base, or as a proportion from a wider pool of revenue, to a specific end use; it contrasts with general fund financing of expenditure from consolidated ...

Responsibility for implicit bias [PDF]
Research programs in empirical psychology from the past two decades have revealed implicit biases. Although implicit processes are pervasive, unavoidable, and often useful aspects of our cognitions, they may also lead us into error.

Structure‐Function Integration in 2D Hybrid Perovskite for Fast Neutron and Gamma Ray Discrimination
Using an in situ seed‐assisted cooling method, large (28 × 7 × 3 mm3) (GABA)2PbBr4 single crystals are grown, featuring hydrogen‐rich organic layers and a dense PbBr4 framework. This architecture enables efficient γ‐ray absorption, fast‐neutron sensitivity, and clear n/γ pulse‐shape discrimination (FOM up to 1.74), highlighting its potential as a ...

Logic-dynamic approach to fault diagnosis in mechatronic systems
This paper presents a problem of fault detection and isolation (FDI) in mechatronic systems described by nonlinear dynamic models with such types of no differentiable nonlinearities as saturation, Coulomb friction, backlash, and hysteresis. To solve this

This study demonstrates that inflammatory stimuli induce the acetylation‐triggered, chaperone‐mediated autophagic degradation of ubiquitin‐specific peptidase 9 X‐linked (USP9X) in macrophages. USP9X acts as a macrophage “inflammation switch” after myocardial infarction (MI). USP9X loss destabilizes tumor necrosis factor receptor‐associated factor (TRAF)
