Atmospheric Pollution, Environmental Justice and Mortality Rate : a Spatial Approach [PDF]
This paper presents the first study of environmental inequality related to health in France at the national scale. Through an econometric analysis based on a panel data from 2000 to 2004 at a department level, we investigate total mortality rate in ...

Stratospheric column NO2 measurements from three Antarctic sites [PDF]
The significance of stratospheric odd-nitrogen compounds in Antarctic ozone depletion studies has prompted an increase in Antarctic activities. Although several species are being studied, work has concentrated on the acquisition of NO2 data. Ground-based

Diurnal variability of total ozone, nitrogen dioxide and sulfurdioxide columns over [PDF]
Atmospheric ozone plays important role in preserving living things on Earth from harmful solar ultraviolet radiation. Atmospheric nitrogen dioxide (NO2) and sulfur dioxide (SO2) act as very important substances as precursor and destructor of atmospheric ...

Peroxy radical detection by chemical amplification (PERCA) [PDF]
Important reactions of atmospheric free radicals are the chain oxidation of NO and CO. Thus: H2O + NO yields OH + NO2; OH + CO yields H + CO2; H + O2 + M yields HO2 + M.

ESCRT‐Mimetic Nanodegrader Targets STING for Anti‐Inflammatory Therapy
A nanoplatform‐enabled targeted protein degradation strategy is presented to regulate aberrant STING signaling. STING‐ATTEC induces selective autophagic degradation of STING via formation of a STING–ATTEC–LC3 ternary complex, while the cationic FA‐LNP+ system enhances LC3 generation and targeted delivery. Together, this synergistic approach efficiently
