Nocturia is a significantly underestimated disorder, resulting in general worsening of patients’ quality of life, while morbidity and mortality are increasing. Several urologic and other pathologic causes can be described in the background including relatively severe conditions. Therefore, accurate evaluation and adequate treatment is recommended.
