Improvements for the solution of crack evolution using extended finite element method
It is demonstrated that the eXtended Finite Element Method (XFEM) is of remarkable efficiency in simulating crack evolution by eliminating the need for remeshing and refinement.

ABSTRACT Mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) is a B‐cell malignancy with a chronically relapsing clinical course and pronounced genetic heterogeneity. To investigate the clonal dynamics underlying early disease relapse, we performed single‐cell RNA sequencing of paired tumor samples collected at diagnosis and at first relapse. Inference of copy number variants (

Nodal frequency-constrained energy storage planning via hybrid data-model driven methods
Cross-regional high voltage direct current (HVDC) systems bring remarkable renewable power injections to the receiver side of power grids. However, HVDC failures result in large disturbances to receivers and cause critical frequency security problems ...

ABSTRACT FOXA2 (hepatocyte nuclear factor‐3β, HNF‐3β) encodes a transcriptional activator involved in early embryogenesis, particularly in the patterning and differentiation of midline structures such as the neural tube, foregut, and pituitary gland. Its role in human pathogenesis was first suspected when patients with deletion of chromosome 20p11.2 ...

ABSTRACT Objective In the last two decades, transnasal endoscopic surgery (TES) has become pivotal in the management of sinonasal tumors. This approach involves a multiblock tumor resection, adding complexity to the interpretation of surgical margins after pathological examination.

Helmeted hornbill cranial kinesis: Balancing mobility and stability in a high‐impact joint
Abstract Prokinesis—in which a craniofacial joint allows the rostrum to move relative to the braincase—is thought to confer diverse advantages in birds, mostly for feeding. A craniofacial joint would, however, be a weak link if cranial stability is important. Paradoxically, we have identified a craniofacial joint in helmeted hornbills (Rhinoplax vigil),

Effect of enzalutamide on anticoagulant therapy with edoxaban in patients with prostate cancer
Aims Treatment with enzalutamide in prostate cancer is challenging due to its high potential for drug–drug interactions, particularly in the typically older population of patients with frequent comorbidities treated with multiple drugs, such as anticoagulants.

Integrating data from plastid genomes, nrDNA, and 353 low‐copy nuclear genes, this study establishes a robust phylogenetic framework for Hylodesmum. This framework supports a taxonomic revision recognizing 18 species and reveals a complex pattern of bidirectional EA–ENA dispersal, with mammals as a plausible dispersal agent. ABSTRACT Phylogenomics with
