Multi-view Graph Embedding with Hub Detection for Brain Network Analysis

open access: yes, 2017
Multi-view graph embedding has become a widely studied problem in the area of graph learning. Most of the existing works on multi-view graph embedding aim to find a shared common node embedding across all the views of the graph by combining the different

Adaptor protein CIN85 potentiates the motility of osteosarcoma cells via the Akt/mTOR and MMP2‐COL3A1 axis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
CIN85 is highly expressed in osteosarcoma, particularly in metastatic lesions. Its overexpression increases cell migration and Matrigel invasion, while silencing CIN85 suppresses these behaviors. Transcriptome analysis shows that CIN85 regulates MMP2, COL3A1, and Akt/mTOR signaling. Targeting these pathways reverses CIN85‐induced motility, highlighting

Node Embedding With a $CN$ -Based Random Walk for Community Search

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
Community search is a query request-oriented community detection problem. Given a query node $v$ in network $G$ , the goal of community search is to discover a community in $G$ that contains node $v$ .

Structural Adversarial Variational Auto-Encoder for Attributed Network Embedding

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2021
As most networks come with some content in each node, attributed network embedding has aroused much research interest. Most existing attributed network embedding methods aim at learning a fixed representation for each node encoding its local proximity ...

Tumor‐stromal crosstalk and macrophage enrichment are associated with chemotherapy response in bladder cancer

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Chemoresistance in bladder cancer: Macrophage recruitment associated with CXCL1, CXCL5 and CXCL8 expression is characteristic of Gemcitabine/Cisplatin (Gem/Cis) Non‐Responder tumors (right side) while Responder tumors did not show substantial tumor‐stromal crosstalk (left side). All biological icons are attributed to Bioicons: carcinoma, cancerous‐cell‐

UiO‐66 metal–organic frameworks in biomedicine: From structural tunability to bioimaging, photodiagnostics, and photodynamic cancer therapy

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
UiO‐66(Zr) metal–organic frameworks are chemically stable, biocompatible, and highly tunable nanomaterials. Their modular structure enables controlled drug delivery, multimodal bioimaging, and light‐activated photodynamic therapy, supporting integrated diagnostic and therapeutic (theranostic) applications in cancer and biomedical research.

NAGNE: Node-to-Attribute Generation Network Embedding for Heterogeneous Network

open access: yesApplied Sciences
Heterogeneous network embedding aims to project multiple types of nodes into a low-dimensional space, and has become increasingly ubiquitous. However, several challenges have not been addressed so far.

Cutaneous Melanoma Drives Metabolic Changes in the Aged Bone Marrow Immune Microenvironment

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
Melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer, increasingly affects older adults. Our study reveals that melanoma induces changes in iron and lipid levels in the bone marrow, impacting immune cell populations and increasing susceptibility to ferroptosis.

An Approach of Community Search with Minimum Spanning Tree Based on Node Embedding

open access: yesComplexity, 2021
Community search is a query-oriented variant of community detection problem, and the goal is to retrieve a single community from a given set of nodes. Most of the existing community search methods adopt handcrafted features, so there are some limitations

On Spectral Graph Embedding: A Non-Backtracking Perspective and Graph Approximation

open access: yes, 2018
Graph embedding has been proven to be efficient and effective in facilitating graph analysis. In this paper, we present a novel spectral framework called NOn-Backtracking Embedding (NOBE), which offers a new perspective that organizes graph data at a ...
