Improving node embedding by a compact neighborhood representation
Graph Embedding, a learning paradigm that represents graph vertices, edges, and other semantic information about a graph into low dimensional vectors, has found wide applications in different machine learning tasks. In the past few years, we have had a plethora of methods centered on graph embedding using different techniques such as spectral ...

What Do Large Language Models Know About Materials?
If large language models (LLMs) are to be used inside the material discovery and engineering process, they must be benchmarked for the accurateness of intrinsic material knowledge. The current work introduces 1) a reasoning process through the processing–structure–property–performance chain and 2) a tool for benchmarking knowledge of LLMs concerning ...

SmartNIC-Offloaded Worker Node for Storage-Compute Disaggregated Recommendation System [PDF]
Deep learning-based recommendation systems are commonly used to provide personalized recommendations. In a common storage-compute disaggregated inference architecture, the inference speed of the recommendation system is limited by the internode network ...

This study demonstrates an efficient recycling route for out‐of‐spec AlSi10Mg atomized powders through compaction and arc remelting followed by suction casting. By correlating compaction load, cooling rate, and resulting microstructure, we show that intermediate pressures (50–80 kN) and rapid cooling refine dendrites, reduce porosity, and enhance ...

A Compact Spin‐Coated Graphene UWB Antenna for Breast Tumor Detection
A compact, spin‐coated graphene ultra‐wideband patch antenna designed for breast tumor detection, capable of distinguishing between malignant and benign tumors. This innovative antenna can serve as an effective initial screening tool, particularly in resource‐limited settings such as rural areas, where access to advanced medical equipment like MRI and ...

Stabilization of L‐PBF Ni50.7Ti49.3 under low‐cycle loading was investigated. Recoverable strain after cycling was dependent on the amount of applied load. Recovery ratio was 53.4% and 35.1% at intermediate and high load, respectively. The maximum total strain reached 10.3% at a high load of 1200 MPa.

Generative hypergraph models and spectral embedding
Many complex systems involve interactions between more than two agents. Hypergraphs capture these higher-order interactions through hyperedges that may link more than two nodes.

Integrated Node Encoder for Labelled Textual Networks
Voluminous works have been implemented to exploit content-enhanced network embedding models, with little focus on the labelled information of nodes. Although TriDNR leverages node labels by treating them as node attributes, it fails to enrich unlabelled ...

This study investigates laser‐based oxide removal of Cu inserts in oxygen‐free conditions and examines long‐term oxidation kinetics and surface chemistry under different atmospheres via X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy. Al–Cu compound casting with differently oxidized surfaces is performed, and intermetallic phase formation, morphology, and thermal ...

From node embedding to community embedding on graphs [PDF]
In the last few years, graphs have become an instinctive representative tool to better study complex structures. For example, in chemistry, it is common to represent and study the interaction between different proteins as a graph, reducing the experimental costs. Similarly, with the consolidation of Web 2.0 and the rise of Web 3.0, social networks have
