In Vitro Evaluation of Novel Calcium Silicate‐Based and Resin‐Modified Calcium Silicate Materials: Cytocompatibility and Mineralization Potential on Human Dental Pulp Stem Cells for Pulp Repair

open access: yesMicroscopy Research and Technique, Volume 89, Issue 6, Page 932-947, June 2026.
This study demonstrates that Biodentine XP exhibits superior cytocompatibility, promotes odontogenic differentiation, and enhances mineralization in human dental pulp stem cells, supporting its use in regenerative endodontics. Resin‐modified materials showed lower bioactivity, highlighting the importance of material composition in pulp therapy outcomes.

Mise au point d'un nouveau modèle de comportement élasto-viscoplastique. Application au dimensionnement à la fatigue d'un collecteur d'échappement de moteur Diesel en fonte [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
National audienceFatigue design of structures for high temperature service resorts to modelling based on elasto-viscoplasticity constitutive laws. The new model describes complex anisothermal cyclic loadings, accounting for viscosity on a large range of ...

Advancing Canning Quality in Common Beans: An Integrated Farm‐to‐Can Framework Combining Breeding, Processing, and Artificial Intelligence

open access: yesLegume Science, Volume 8, Issue 2, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Common beans (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) are essential raw material for the canning industry. This article reviews recent advances in assessing canning quality and the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into breeding methodologies aimed at developing genotypes with superior yield and canning‐quality traits.

Experimental and numerical analysis of effect of cooling rate on thermal–microstructural response of spheroidal graphite cast iron solidification [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
This work presents an experimental and numerical study of the solidification process of an eutectic spheroidal graphite cast iron (SGI). The effect of the cooling rate on the thermal–microstructural response is particularly analysed.

A Topology Optimization Framework for the Inverse Design of Nonlinear Mechanical Metamaterials

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, Volume 28, Issue 9, 6 May 2026.
This work uses topology optimization to design unit cells for mechanical metamaterials with a prescribed nonlinear stress–strain response. The framework adds contact and postbuckling modeling to synthesize microstructures for three highly nonlinear responses, including pseudoductile behavior, monostable with snap‐through buckling, and bistable ...

Hydrophobic Eutectic Solvent‐Engineered Membranes for Highly Permeable, Selective, and Antifouling Pharmaceutical Removal from Municipal Wastewater

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, Volume 9, Issue 3, May 2026.
Single‐step incorporation of a hydrophobic deep eutectic solvent (HDES) into polyethersulfone ultrafiltration membranes via non‐solvent induced phase separation creates selective, antifouling membranes for pharmaceutical removal. The HDES nanodomains enhance permeability, electrostatic interactions, and adsorption affinity, enabling efficient and ...
