Interferometry-Integrated Noise-Immune Quantum Memory

Physical Review Letters, 2023
A quantum memory with the performances of low noise, high efficiency, and high bandwidth is of crucial importance for developing practical quantum information technologies. However, the excess noises generated during the highly efficient processing of quantum information inevitably destroy quantum state.

Dynamic CMOC noise immunity

Proceedings of the Tenth International Conference on Microelectronics (Cat. No.98EX186), 2002
While dynamic CMOS logic is considered an attractive circuit technique, it is suffering from noise problems. Noise may affect dynamic CMOS circuits in many ways. In this paper new models have been developed considering a noise pulse on one of the circuit inputs or on the clock input.

Noise immunity of the genetic code

Biosystems, 1983
Error detection and correction properties are fundamental for informative codes. Hamming's distance allows us to study this noise resistance. We present codes characterized by the resistance optimization to nonsense mutational effects. The calculation of the cumulated Hamming's distance allowing to determine the number of optimal codes and their ...

Improved noise-immune phase-unwrapping algorithm

Applied Optics, 1995
An algorithm for unwrapping noisy phase maps has recently been proposed, based on the identification of discontinuity sources that mark the start or end of a 2π phase discontinuity. Branch cuts between sources act as barriers to unwrapping, resulting in a unique phase map that is independent of the unwrapping route.

Optimal Noise-Immune Genetic Codes

Cybernetics and Systems Analysis, 2019
DNA symmetry is used to generate optimal genetic codes whose noise immunity with respect to polarity of amino acids in case of mutations in nucleotides is much greater than immunity of standard codes. Noise immunity of optimal symmetric and non-symmetric genetic codes is analyzed.

Noise-immune phase unwrapping algorithm

Applied Optics, 1989
A new phase unwrapping algorithm is proposed which combines noise immunity with computational efficiency. It is based on the requirement that the unwrapped map should be independent of the route by which unwrapping takes place.

Noise immune speech recognition system

Proceedings of the Sixteenth National Radio Science Conference. NRSC'99 (IEEE Cat. No.99EX249), 2003
This paper investigates the performance of an isolated word recognition (IWR) system in a noisy environment. Two approaches have been demonstrated to overcome the effect of the noise on the recognition accuracy. These approaches are, using noise immune features and reference model contamination.

A noise-immune cesium magnetometer

Instruments and Experimental Techniques, 2007
A high-sensitivity (∼1 fT at a 100-s measurement time) self-generating magnetometer based on the optical orientation of cesium atoms and intended for measurements of absolute values of weak (∼2 × 10−6 T) magnetic fields is described. Its distinctive feature is the complete optical isolation of the magnetic sensor from the electronic units, allowing one

Noise immunity of CMOS integrated circuits

Microelectronics Journal, 1979
Sources of noise in logic circuits are discussed and definitions stated. The good noise performance of CMOS devices is then explained.
