Noise immunity enhancement of BLN system
Radioelectronics and Communications Systems, 2008The possibility of enhancing the noise immunity was investigated with respect to the BLN system that is applied in radio receivers operating under the conditions of exposure to pulse interferences. To this end, additional processing of the received signals was proposed implying the introduction of predistortion and correction, and also the second ...

Noise-Immune Coil for Unshielded Magnetic Resonance Measurements
Journal of Magnetic Resonance, 1998A modified split-loop resonator that is electrically balanced and that has no magnetic dipole moment is shown to be relatively immune to environmental noise. Using a magnetic resonance surface coil of this design for 14N NQR at 3.4 MHz, it is demonstrated that magnetic resonance measurements can be made in the laboratory without additional RF shielding

Towards noise immune detection of fetal QRS complexes
Computer Methods and Programs in Biomedicine, 2010The noninvasive fetal electrocardiography is a source of more precise information on the fetal heart activity than the measurements based on Doppler ultrasound signals. However, the clinical diagnostic applications of this technique are limited by difficulty with successful detection of small amplitude fetal QRS complexes. In this study, we investigate

Noise-immune high-speed holographic vibrometry
Imaging and Applied Optics 2018 (3D, AO, AIO, COSI, DH, IS, LACSEA, LS&C, MATH, pcAOP), 2018A new temporal phase sampling method is presented that is immune to uncontrolled spatiotemporal object and setup vibrations. Temporal scans of continuous phase shifts provide the feedback to reconstruct spatially uniform phase shifted holograms.

Noise immunity through non-reciprocal topology
CLEO 2025We show that nonlinear driven-dissipative chains with non-reciprocal couplings can enable immunity of one side of the system to excess noise. We show that this behavior is robust, owing to its connection to the non-Hermitian skin effect.

Analysis of impulse noise immunity standards
IEEE International Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility, 2002It is pointed out that international and national impulse immunity standards provide for different test procedures, pulse parameters, and output impedances of the simulators. Studies of pulse generation in electrical systems, and of equipment susceptibility and pulse noise simulation show that the calibration of test pulses on open circuits is more ...

Speech recognition method having noise immunity
The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 1990In a speech recognition system, the beginning of speech versus non-speech (a cough or noise) is distinguished by reverting to a non-speech decision process whenever the liklihood cost of template (vocabulary) patterns, including silence, is worse than a predetermined threshold, established by a Joker Word which represents a non-vocabulary word score ...

The Theory of Optimum Noise Immunity
Physics Bulletin, 1969V.A. Kotel'nikov London: Constable. 1969 Pp. xi + 140. Price £1 13s. 6d. The author of this book is described in an editorial preface as having worked on sampling theory of band limited functions as early as 1933. His 1947 doctoral thesis was published in Russia in 1956 in a slightly condensed form, and the present volume is a translation by R.A ...
