Mathematical fundamentals for the noise immunity of the genetic code
Biosystems, 2018Symmetry is one of the essential and most visible patterns that can be seen in nature. Starting from the left-right symmetry of the human body, all types of symmetry can be found in crystals, plants, animals and nature as a whole. Similarly, principals of symmetry are also some of the fundamental and most useful tools in modern mathematical natural ...

Active noise control by an immune algorithm: adaptation in immune system as an evolution
Proceedings of IEEE International Conference on Evolutionary Computation, 2002A new information processing architecture is extracted from immune systems. By focusing on informational features of the immune system (i.e. specificity, diversity, tolerance, and memory), an immune algorithm is proposed. The algorithm proceeds in three steps: diversity generation, establishment of self-tolerance, and memorizing non-self.

Noise immunity of pulse wave contour analysis
Izmeritel`naya Tekhnika, 2019This article is devoted to analyzing the noise immunity of pulse waveform contour analysis. Different approaches to the implementation of the pulse waveform contour analysis were considered. It was demonstrated that a classical approach for the morphological analysis of the pulse wave based on using the stiffness index and the reflection index do not ...

The Theory of Optimum Noise Immunity
Physics Bulletin, 1969V.A. Kotel'nikov London: Constable. 1969 Pp. xi + 140. Price £1 13s. 6d. The author of this book is described in an editorial preface as having worked on sampling theory of band limited functions as early as 1933. His 1947 doctoral thesis was published in Russia in 1956 in a slightly condensed form, and the present volume is a translation by R.A ...

Interconnection and Noise Immunity of Circuitry in Digital Computers
IEEE Transactions on Electronic Computers, 1965This paper describes the mutual dependence of interconnection and noise immunity in digital circuitry. Utilizing the charge control concept, the static thresholds of a transistor are defined in terms of the saturation charge and the depletion layer charge.

Influence of noise on the noise-immunity indices of laser interference refractometers
Measurement Techniques, 1996The influence of noise on the resultant error probabilities in the detection of integral interference orders by various methods of the kind most frequently used in laser refractometry is investigated.

Certain properties of noise-immune automata
Cybernetics, 1988Summary: We discuss the following aspects of the theory of noise-immune automata: analysis of the properties of connected and strongly subautomata, factor automata, and direct automata products. The results are discussed for automata without outputs but can be naturally extended to finite Mealy automata.

On higher order noise immune perceptrons
IJCNN'01. International Joint Conference on Neural Networks. Proceedings (Cat. No.01CH37222), 2002Details a systematic method for significantly enhancing the noise margins of very fast threshold gates. The method is based on adding nonlinear terms determined from the Boolean form of the linearly separable (threshold) function to be implemented. It follows that linearly separable functions can be computed with high noise immunity by higher order ...
