History and Epidemiology Historically, noma is a disease of extreme poverty and malnourishment, reported throughout history in Asia, Europe, South America, and Africa [1,3,4]. It was described by Hippocrates [5] and found in German and Japanese concentration camps during World War II [1,6].

Sum Rate Maximization for IRS-Assisted Uplink NOMA [PDF]
An intelligent reflecting surface (IRS) consists of a large number of low-cost reflecting elements, which can steer the incident signal collaboratively by passive beamforming.

A Unified Framework for Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access [PDF]
This paper proposes a unified framework of non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) networks. Stochastic geometry is employed to model the locations of spatially NOMA users. The proposed unified NOMA framework is capable of being applied to both code-domain NOMA (CD-NOMA) and power-domain NOMA (PD-NOMA).

Noma: Experiences of Survivors, Opinion Leaders and Healthcare Professionals in Burkina Faso
The scientific literature on noma (Cancrum Oris) has clearly increased in recent decades, but there seems to have been limited analysis of issues around the psycho-social impacts of this disease.

Threshold-based Selective Cooperative-NOMA
In this letter, we propose threshold-based selective cooperative-NOMA (TBS-C-NOMA) to increase the data reliability of conventional cooperative-NOMA (C-NOMA) networks.

On the Impact of Phase Shifting Designs on IRS-NOMA [PDF]
In this letter, the impact of two phase shifting designs, namely coherent phase shifting and random discrete phase shifting, on the performance of intelligent reflecting surface (IRS) assisted non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) is studied.

Age of Information: Can CR-NOMA Help? [PDF]
The aim of this paper is to exploit cognitive-ratio inspired NOMA (CR-NOMA) transmission to reduce the age of information in wireless networks. In particular, two CR-NOMA transmission protocols are developed by utilizing the key features of different data generation models and applying CR-NOMA as an add-on to a legacy orthogonal multiple access (OMA ...

Joint RSMA and IDMA-Based NOMA system for downlink Communication in 5G and Beyond Networks
Future communication networks may encounter various issues in order to facilitate heavy heterogeneous data traffic and large number of users, therefore more advanced multiple access (MA) schemes is required to meet the changing requirements.

Fairness Comparison of Uplink NOMA and OMA
In this paper, we compare the resource allocation fairness of uplink communications between non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) schemes and orthogonal multiple access (OMA) schemes.
