COL1A1+ Epithelial Cells Orchestrate VEGFA‐VEGFR Signaling in Endometritis Revealed by Single‐Cell Analysis

Single‐cell RNA‐seq of normal and endometritis endometrium shows reduced epithelial cells and fate divergence toward ferroptosis or ribosome/antigen‐presentation programs. COL1A1+ epithelial cells act as an AP‐1–driven hub that enhances VEGFA–VEGFR signaling and remodels the vascular microenvironment.

Failure to replicate effects of parent‐delivered early language intervention: Evidence from a randomised controlled trial with implications for universal language intervention

Abstract Background Parent‐led, preschool language interventions may help to mitigate the risk of poor language and literacy outcomes associated with lower socioeconomic status. This study builds on two previous evaluations of a parent‐led early language teaching programme, which demonstrated mixed findings.

Diagnostic Performance of Ultrasound in Adult Appendicitis. A Retrospective Review of 331 Cases

The sensitivity of ultrasound in the detection of appendicitis had a prevalence of 16% in our predominantly young female cohort, with alternative gynaecological and abdominal diagnoses identified approximately 2:1. The sensitivity for ultrasound to detect appendicitis was 60%, with specificity of 98% and negative predictive value (NPV) of 93%.
