Identification and Validation of a Prognostic Model Based on Tumour Necrosis Factor‐Related mRNAs for Kidney Renal Clear Cell Carcinoma

open access: yesJournal of Cellular and Molecular Medicine, Volume 29, Issue 14, July 2025.
ABSTRACT Tumour necrosis factor (TNF) plays a critical role in tumour progression, but the specific involvement of mRNA in this process, particularly in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC) remains insufficiently understood. Our study aims to develop a TNF‐related mRNA (TRmRNA) model to predict prognosis and inform treatment strategies in KIRC ...

Multi‐Centre External Validation of a Nomogram for 10‐Year Periodontal Tooth Loss Prediction

open access: yesJournal of Clinical Periodontology, Volume 52, Issue 7, Page 1044-1055, July 2025.
ABSTRACT Aims To externally validate the potential applicability of the 2018 classification of periodontal diseases as a risk assessment tool, through the use of a nomogram built on a multivariate predictor model. Materials and Methods Data from 459 patients with periodontitis, across four cohorts (three in the United States, and one in the United ...

Construction and validation of nomogram prediction model for ketoacidosis in elderly diabetic patients based on baseline data and glycolipid metabolism

open access: yesJournal of Diabetes Investigation, Volume 16, Issue 7, Page 1338-1345, July 2025.
This study identifies risk factors for DKA in elderly diabetics and develops a predictive nomogram model. Key factors include age, diabetes duration, FBG, HbA1c, and lipid levels. The model demonstrated strong predictive performance with high AUC values, indicating its clinical utility.

Unraveling the Role of Programmed Cell Death Gene Signature and THBS1 in Gastric Cancer Progression and Therapy Response

open access: yesJournal of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Volume 40, Issue 7, Page 1825-1837, July 2025.
ABSTRACT Background Programmed cell death (PCD) genes play crucial roles in cancer progression and response to therapies, yet their impact on gastric cancer remains inadequately elucidated. This study aimed to create a prognostic cell death signature (PCDs) for gastric cancer, providing insights into potential therapeutic targets and survival ...
