Identification and verification of feature biomarkers associated with CD14+ monocytes in type 1 diabetes

open access: yesJournal of Diabetes Investigation, EarlyView.
ID1 was identified as the feature gene of CD14+ monocytes, which exhibited the well‐known ability of diagnosis and prediction of T1D. ABSTRACT Aims/Introduction Monocytes contribute to the immune dysregulation of pancreatic islets in Type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1D).

Diagnosis melanoma with artificial intelligence systems: A meta‐analysis study and systematic review

open access: yesJournal of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, EarlyView.
This meta‐analysis evaluates the diagnostic accuracy of AI‐based skin cancer models. The pooled AUC was 0.96, with sensitivity and specificity of 0.89 and 0.92, respectively. Hybrid models demonstrated superior performance (AUC: 0.98) compared to single DL (AUC:0.95) and ML (AUC:0.95) models.

Nomogram for Deep Vein Thrombosis Prediction Post‐Endovascular Thrombectomy in Acute Ischemic Stroke: A Retrospective Multicenter Observational Study

open access: yesJournal of Clinical Nursing, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a frequent complication following endovascular thrombectomy (EVT) in patients with acute ischaemic stroke (AIS), potentially leading to fatal pulmonary embolism (PE). Identifying patients early at high risk for DVT is clinically important.

Prediction Models for Maternal and Offspring Short‐ and Long‐Term Outcomes Following Gestational Diabetes: A Systematic Review

open access: yesObesity Reviews, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objectives Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM), affecting one in seven pregnant women worldwide, can have short‐ and long‐term adverse outcomes for both the mother and her baby. Despite a raft of prognostic models aiming to predict adverse GDM outcomes, very few have impacted clinical practice.

Deciphering Disulfidptosis‐Linked lncRNA Patterns as Potential HNSCC Biomarkers

open access: yesOral Diseases, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Our investigation sought to uncover the intrinsic features of Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma (HNSCC), particularly the role of long non‐coding RNAs implicated in disulfidptosis (DRLs). Materials and Methods We carried out lncRNA‐mRNA RNA‐Seq studies on HNSCC cells and harnessed the data from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA ...

Kidney Injury Molecule‐1 Expression in Pathological T1b Clear Cell Renal Cell Carcinoma: A Putative Biomarker of High Immune‐Inflamed Status and Recurrence

open access: yesPathology International, EarlyView.
High membranous kidney injury molecule‐1 (KIM‐1) expression in pathological T1b (pT1b) clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) was significantly associated with a higher nuclear grade, tumor necrosis, hot tumor associated immune cell (TAIC) status, and shorter recurrence‐free survival (RFS) and cancer‐specific survival, and was an independent predictor
