Proteomics as a tool for the characterisation of nosocomial pathogens
The aim of the present investigation was to develop and assess the potential of various proteomic approaches for the characterisation of two major nosocomial pathogens, S. aureus and C. difficile and to further investigate the intraspecies diversity of C.

Bovine mastitis is a prevalent and costly disease impacting the mammary gland health of dairy cows, resulting in 300-400 million CAD in annual losses to the Canadian dairy industry. Although mastitis can be caused by numerous bacterial species, non-aureus staphylococci (NAS) collectively account for a significant number of chronic subclinical ...

ABSTRACT Silver‐doped cerium oxide nanoparticles (Ag/CeO2 NPs) were synthesized using Ricinus communis seed extract as a bio‐derived fuel in a solution combustion method. The combustion reaction, carried out at 450°C with AgNO3 and (NH4)2[Ce (NO3)6] as metal precursors, produced CeO2 and Ag/CeO2 NPs.
