Vorinostat Potentiates Chemoimmunotherapy in Immune‐Enriched Pancreatic Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Immune‐enriched pancreatic cancer does not confer a significant survival advantage. SAHA sensitizes these “hot” tumors to chemoimmunotherapy by disrupting a FASN/PARP9‐driven “metabolic trap” and enhancing CD8+ T cell function. A CD8high/FASNhigh/PARP9high signature identifies patients who are most likely to benefit from the “gemcitabine‐nivolumab‐SAHA”

Payoff-dependant Balancedness and Cores. [PDF]

open access: yes
We prove the non-emptiness of the core of an NTU game satisfying a condition of payoff-dependent balancedness, based on transfer rate mappings. We also define a new equilibrium condition on transfer rates and we prove the existence of core payoff vectors

Nonatomic Non-Cooperative Neighbourhood Balancing Games

open access: yesFundamenta Informaticae
We introduce a game where players selfishly choose a resource and endure a cost depending on the number of players choosing nearby resources. We model the influences among resources by a weighted graph, directed or not. These games are generalizations of well-known games like Wardrop and congestion games. We study the conditions of equilibria existence

Adult Sex Ratio as a Demographic Feedback Linking Mating Systems, Parental Care, and Evolution

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Breeding systems are some of the most diverse social behavior, and our team is investigation the evolutionary causes of this diversity. This review summarises our research carried out at the University of Bath. We argue that demographic components of wild populations, especially the adult sex ratio, plays a key role driving breeding system variation ...

A non cooperative game in a distributed parameter system [PDF]

open access: yes, 1975
This paper is devoted to study a class of differential games for distributed parameter systems. Essentially we study a Nash equilibrium point for a system governed by a parabolic equation. A method based on the SCARF-HANSEN [1] algorithm for solution of non-cooperative games is given.

MFPD: A Multiple Fungal Pathogen Detection Pipeline Across Diverse Habitats

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The MFPD pipeline integrates a comprehensive ITS reference database of fungal pathogens, optimized parameters, and algorithms tailored for both full‐length and subregion sequences that balance accuracy and computational efficiency; it enables high‐throughput, species‐level identification from amplicon sequencing data, supporting large‐scale ...

Sustainable Materials Design With Multi‐Modal Artificial Intelligence

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Critical mineral scarcity, high embodied carbon, and persistent pollution from materials processing intensify the need for sustainable materials design. This review frames the problem as multi‐objective optimization under heterogeneous, high‐dimensional evidence and highlights multi‐modal AI as an enabling pathway.
