Comparative study of game theoretic approaches to mitigate network layer attacks in VANETs

open access: yesICT Express, 2018
For the past few years, number of accidents have occurred due to the rapid usage of vehicles in the road and the lack of emergency alerts provisioning to the vehicle user during natural disasters.

Research on collaborative innovation among enterprises in green supply chain based on carbon emission trading

open access: yesScience Progress, 2020
Considering the multiple effects of product greenness and carbon emission trading, this article constructs a differential game model to study the collaborative innovation between enterprises in a green supply chain composed of one manufacturer and one ...

Capacity planning of wind generation units in multi-wind-generation DC-connected system based on cooperative game

open access: yesEnergy Reports, 2022
This paper proposes a cooperative-game-based approach to plan the capacity of wind generation units (WGUs) in the multi-wind-generation DC-connected (MWGDC) system, which considers both the individual economy of each WGU and the system operation security.

Social choice theory, game theory, and positive political theory [PDF]

open access: yes, 1998
We consider the relationships between the collective preference and non-cooperative game theory approaches to positive political theory. In particular, we show that an apparently decisive difference between the two approachesthat in sufficiently complex ...

Non-cooperative Monomino Games

open access: yes, 2017
In this paper we study monomino games. These are two player games played on a rectangular board with R rows and C columns. The game pieces are monominoes, which cover exactly one cell of the board. One by one each player selects a column of the board, and places a monomino in the lowest uncovered cell. This generates a payoff for the player.

Social Power and Non-cooperative Game Theory [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Theoretical Politics, 2022
This paper defends the use of non-cooperative game theory for analysing questions of governance. To do so it posits a way of extending the resource account of social power from cooperative games to noncooperative games in a way that side steps a range of criticism.

Analysis of Methods of Determining the Safe Ship Trajectory [PDF]

open access: yesTransNav, 2016
The paper describes six methods of optimal and game theory and artificial neural network for synthesis of safe control in collision situations at sea. The application of optimal and game control algorithms to determine the own ship safe trajectory during

Capacity Maximization Using Nash Bargaining in Indoor Optical Multiuser Interference-Limited Poisson Channel

open access: yesIEEE Photonics Journal, 2020
In multiuser optical wireless communications (OWC), the multiuser interference becomes significant as the number of users increases. This would lead to a poor quality of service with a low signal-to-interference-plus-noise-ratio (SINR) or even a failure ...

Reperfusion‐Dependent Outcomes After Endovascular Thrombectomy Stratified by NIHSS‐ASPECTS Clinical‐Core Mismatch

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective This analysis evaluates the effect of successful reperfusion on functional outcomes after MT, stratified by admission National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) and Alberta Stroke Program Early CT Score (ASPECTS) as surrogates for clinical‐core mismatch, using multicenter registry data.
