Controllability for a One-Dimensional Wave Equation in a Non-cylindrical Domain
This paper deals with the controllability for a one-dimensional wave equation with mixed boundary conditions in a non-cylindrical domain. This equation models small vibrations of a string where an endpoint is fixed and the other is moving. As usual, we consider one main control (the leader) and an additional secondary control (the follower).

Shellac, a centuries‐old natural resin, is reimagined as a green material for flexible electronics. When combined with silver nanowires, shellac films deliver transparency, conductivity, and stability against humidity. These results position shellac as a sustainable alternative to synthetic polymers for transparent conductors in next‐generation ...

The Initial Value Problem for the Equations of Magnetohydrodynamic Type in Non-Cylindrical Domain
Let \(r(t)\) be a positive-valued function of \(C^1[0, T]\), \[ Q= \{(x, t): x\in \mathbb{R}^n,\;0\leq t\leq T,\;(x)< r(t)\},\quad n= 2,3. \] The authors consider in domain \(Q\) the initial-boundary value problem \[ \begin{aligned} {\partial\overline u\over \partial t} & - {\eta\over \rho} \Delta\overline u+ (\overline u\cdot \nabla) \overline u- {\mu\

New energy effect in non-cylindrical domains with a thermally insulated moving boundary
Objectives. To develop mathematical model representations of the energy effect in non-cylindrical domains having a thermally insulated moving boundary; to introduce a new boundary condition for thermal insulation of a moving boundary both for locally equilibrium heat transfer processes in the framework of classical Fourier phenomenology, as well as for

A sequence‐encoded supramolecular construct containing two accessible toeholds is developed herein for enabling multiple editing operations. By introducing specific input strands, it is possible to selectively erase or rewrite digital content through parallel or series toehold‐mediated strand displacement (PTMSD or STMSD).

This study examines how pore shape and manufacturing‐induced deviations affect the mechanical properties of 3D‐printed lattice materials with constant porosity. Combining µ‐CT analysis, FEM, and compression testing, the authors show that structural imperfections reduce stiffness and strength, while bulk material inhomogeneities probably enhance ...

Development of a methodology for collaborative control within a WEC array
It has been established that Wave Energy Converters efficiency can be improved by control. One of the main challenges of reactive control is the non-causality of the optimal controller.

Bio‐based and (semi‐)synthetic zwitterion‐modified novel materials and fully synthetic next‐generation alternatives show the importance of material design for different biomedical applications. The zwitterionic character affects the physiochemical behavior of the material and deepens the understanding of chemical interaction mechanisms within the ...

Dissipative Boussinesq equations on non-cylindrical domains in R^n
This article concerns the initial-boundary value problem for the nonlinear Boussinesq equations on time dependent domains in $mathbb{R}^n$ with $1leq n leq 4$. Global solvability, uniqueness of solutions and the exponential decay to the energy are established provided the initial data are bounded in some sense.
