We provide existence results for equilibria of games where players employ abstract (non binary) choice rules. Such results are shown to encompass as a relevant instance that of games where players have (non-transitive) SSB (Skew-Symmetric Bilinear ...

Growth‐Pathway‐Controlled van der Waals Epitaxy of Phase‐Selective Tin Sulfides
Growth‐pathway‐controlled van der Waals epitaxy enables deterministic phase selection and strain engineering in tin sulfide/WSe2 heterostructures. Direct growth of SnS induces substrate‐mediated strain and phase evolution, whereas sequential growth through an SnS2 buffer suppresses strain transfer and stabilizes pristine α‐SnS, revealing a versatile ...

Voting rules as statistical estimators
We adopt an `epistemic' interpretation of social decisions: there is an objectively correct choice, each voter receives a `noisy signal' of the correct choice, and the social objective is to aggregate these signals to make the best possible guess about ...

Testing Nonlinearity: Decision Rules for Selecting between Logistic and Exponential STAR Models. [PDF]
A new LM specification procedure to choose between Logistic and Exponential Smooth Transition Autoregressive (STAR) models is introduced. The new decision rule has better properties than those previously available in the literature when the model is ...

Adult stem cell therapy requires more than high in vitro potency. This review proposes a systems framework in which cell‐intrinsic programs, instructive microenvironmental cues, and pre‐/post‐delivery engineering are co‐designed under standardized translational rules.

Employing a digital single‐molecule activity tracker (dSMAT), this research demonstrates that high‐photon‐flux irradiation drives progressive oxidative scarring in polymerases. Unlike simple thermal denaturation, real‐time kinetic tracking dynamically visualizes enzymes degrading into multiple impaired subpopulations.

A versatile framework integrates addressable electrothermal actuation and strain‐constraint mechanisms to construct programmable shape‐morphing soft matter systems. By combining an analytical inverse design strategy for high‐fidelity 3D surface reconstruction with deep learning‐based closed‐loop control, this approach enables zero‐energy shape locking,
