In this study, we produced HfN‐based nanoparticles via femtosecond laser ablation in acetone. The nanoparticles exhibit a red‐shifted plasmonic resonance in the NIR‐I window, colloidal stability after coating with polyethyleneglycol, and excellent biocompatibility. The photothermal and X‐ray sensitization therapeutic effects were demonstrated for tumor

A model of Josephson Junctions on Boson Systems - Currents and Entropy Production Rate -
Non-equilibrium steady states (NESS), in the sense of D. Ruelle, of Boson systems with Bose--Einstein condensation (BEC) are investigated with the aid of the C^*-algebraic method.

Triblock Polymer Engineering Enables Hydration‐Rich, High‐Performance, Fouling‐Resistant Interfaces
A molecularly engineered triblock polymer (PHZ) rapidly reorganizes into a hydration‐rich interfacial layer on diverse surfaces, strongly suppressing hydrophobic attraction and fouling. The triblock polymer provides robust energy and steric barriers to oily foulants, enabling high‐performance antifouling at ultralow dosage.

We present a fully automated Bayesian optimization (BO) protocol for the parameterization of nonbonded interactions in coarse‐grain CG force fields (BACH). Using experimental thermophysical data, we apply the protocol to a broad range of liquids, spanning linear, branched, and unsaturated hydrocarbons, esters, triglycerides, and water.

Non-equilibrium control of biomolecular condensates
Biomolecular condensates are cellular organelles without a membrane, which have come into the scientific focus about 15 years ago. They are made from a mix of proteins and RNAs. It is hypothesized that they maintain their shape and function through liquid-liquid phase separation.

Terminal domains of recombinant collagen‐like silk regulate hierarchical self‐assembly across molecular and material scales. We show that terminal domains of collagen‐like silk enhance triple‐helix stability and drive liquid–liquid phase separation, enabling reversible formation of fibers and self‐healing films.

Photoproduction Enhancement from Non Equilibrium Disoriented Chiral Condensates
We study photoproduction during the non-equilibrium stages of the formation of chiral condensates within the ``quench'' scenario of the chiral phase transition. The dynamics is modeled with a gauged linear sigma model. A novel quantum kinetic approach to the description of photoproduction far off equilibrium is developed.

Atomic Layer Deposition in Transistors and Monolithic 3D Integration
Transistors are fundamental building blocks of modern electronics. This review summarizes recent progress in atomic layer deposition (ALD) for the synthesis of two‐dimensional (2D) metal oxides and transition‐metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs), with particular emphasis on their enabling role in monolithic three‐dimensional (M3D) integration for next ...
