Regularities of Formation of a Phase-Structural State of the Condensates Obtained by Ion Sputtering

open access: yesУспехи физики металлов, 2008
Regularities of phase and structure state formation of condensates formed by ion sputtering are analyzed. As shown, the all variety of structural forms and phase states revealed in deposited materials can be described by the single condensation mechanism

Numerical Simulation of Non-Equilibrium Two-Phase Wet Steam Flow through an Asymmetric Nozzle

open access: yesFluids, 2017
The present study reported of the numerical investigation of a high-speed wet steam flow through an asymmetric nozzle. The spontaneous non-equilibrium homogeneous condensation of wet steam was numerically modeled based on the classical nucleation theory ...

Molecular dynamics study on characteristics of reflection and condensation molecules at vapor-liquid equilibrium state.

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2021
The kinetic boundary condition (KBC) represents the evaporation or condensation of molecules at the vapor-liquid interface for molecular gas dynamics (MGD).

Non-equilibrium atomic condensates and mixtures: collective modes, condensate growth and thermalisation

open access: yesJournal of Physics B: Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics, 2016
The non-equilibrium dynamics of trapped ultracold atomic gases, or mixtures thereof, is an extremely rich subject. Despite 20 years of studies, and remarkable progress mainly on the experimental front, numerous open question remain, related to the growth, relaxation and thermalisation of such systems, and there is still no universally-accepted theory ...

Polariton lasing and energy-degenerate parametric scattering in non-resonantly driven coupled planar microcavities

open access: yesNanophotonics, 2021
Multi-level exciton-polariton systems offer an attractive platform for studies of non-linear optical phenomena. However, studies of such consequential non-linear phenomena as polariton condensation and lasing in planar microcavities have so far been ...

Strongly non-equilibrium Bose–Einstein condensation in a trapped gas [PDF]

open access: yesPhysics Letters A, 2001
We present a qualitative (and quantitative, at the level of estimates) analysis of the ordering kinetics in a strongly non-equilibrium state of a weakly interacting Bose gas, trapped with an external potential. At certain conditions, the ordering process is predicted to be even more rich than in the homogeneous case.

A discussion of deuterium excess production in rain water

open access: yesShui kexue jinzhan, 2012
Study on the characteristic of hydrogen and oxygen isotopes in precipitation is an important aspect of water cycle research. However, the production process of deuterium excess(D-excess) in rain water has not been fully explained. From the perspective of ...

Analytical framework for non-equilibrium phase transition to Bose–Einstein condensate

open access: yesQuantum, 2022
The theoretical description of non-equilibrium Bose–Einstein condensate (BEC) is one of the main challenges in modern statistical physics and kinetics. The non-equilibrium nature of BEC makes it impossible to employ the well-established formalism of statistical mechanics.
