Numerical solution of non-Fourier heat transfer during laser irradiation on tooth layers
Journal of Mechanical Science and Technology, 2017This study reports on the simulation of temperature distribution of human tooth under a laser beam based on non-Fourier models. The temperature in the tooth depth that directly results from the conduction heat transfer process is caused by the lengthy thermal relaxation time in the tooth layers.

An enhanced explicit technique for the solution of non-Fourier heat transfer problems
Advances in Engineering Software, 2018Abstract In this work, an enhanced explicit technique is proposed to analyze hyperbolic heat conduction models. As usual, the explicit approach allows the solution of the problem to be carried out without dealing with any system of equations, featuring a very efficient methodology.

Heat Transfer Enhancement Feature of the Non-Fourier Cattaneo–Christov Heat Flux Model
Journal of Heat Transfer, 2021Abstract Cattaneo–Christov heat flux model was proposed to remedy the weakness of the traditional Fourier heat flux model to maintain the finite travel time of heat. The literature is replete with numerical studies to understand the heat transfer enhancement property.

Numerical simulation of non-Fourier effects in combined heat transfer
Proceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Part C: Journal of Mechanical Engineering Science, 2010The non-Fourier effects on transient and steady temperature distribution in combined heat transfer are studied. The processes of coupled conduction and radiation heat transfer in grey, absorbing, emitting, scattering, one-dimensional medium with black boundary surfaces are analysed numerically. The hyperbolic heat conduction equation is solved by flux

Proceedings of the 2021 International Conference on Quantitative InfraRed Thermography, 2022
The paper presents experimental verification of the Dual-Phase-Lag (DPL) heat transfer model of a skin tissue. The simulation for Fourier- Kirchhoff and the DPL thermal models was performed for the same set of the parameters.
