More on topological hydrodynamic modes
Based on previous work that topologically nontrivial gapless modes in relativistic hydrodynamics could be found by weakly breaking the energy momentum conservation, in this paper, we study the holographic system which produces the same hydrodynamic modes.

Work has nothing to do with energy expenditure [PDF]
We show that, contrary to common sense, the author of mechanical work does not necessarily provide the required energy. By the most simple example one can ever conceive – a standing person starting to move, this point is made clear: the floor does not ...

The Effects of Inertial Forces on the Dynamics of Disk Galaxies
When dealing with galactic dynamics, or more specifically, with galactic rotation curves, one basic assumption is always taken: the frame of reference relative to which the rotational velocities are given is assumed to be inertial.

Spacetime Quantum Reference Frames and superpositions of proper times [PDF]
In general relativity, the description of spacetime relies on idealised rods and clocks, which identify a reference frame. In any concrete scenario, reference frames are associated to physical systems, which are ultimately quantum in nature.

Comparative Analysis of Low Earth Orbit Satellite Attitude Determination using Sensor Integration and Attitude Estimation using Kalman Filter [PDF]
The objective of the research is to undergo a performance comparison in terms of accuracy, convergence time, amount of memory, etc. between the satellite attitude determination and attitude estimation using non-linear filters.

Implications of an absolute simultaneity theory for cosmology and universe acceleration. [PDF]
An alternate Lorentz transformation, Absolute Lorentz Transformation (ALT), has similar kinematics to special relativity yet maintains absolute simultaneity in the context of a preferred reference frame.

First Principles Description of Plasma Expansion Using the Expanding Box Model
Multi-scale modeling of expanding plasmas is crucial for understanding the dynamics and evolution of various astrophysical plasma systems such as the solar and stellar winds. In this context, the Expanding Box Model (EBM) provides a valuable framework to

On the trajectories of bodies in non-inertial reference frames
This paper considers a trajectory of the body moving under the influence of the force F in a non-inertial reference frame (NRF), which is "tied" to a given curve y = y(x) and is described by a natural movable basis τ-n. For this NRF, a system of linear differential equations is obtained to simulate various types of trajectories resulting from the ...

A Full-Body Relative Orbital Motion of Spacecraft Using Dual Tensor Algebra and Dual Quaternions
This paper proposes a new non-linear differential equation for the six degrees of freedom (6-DOF) relative rigid bodies motion. A representation theorem is provided for the 6-DOF differential equation of motion in the arbitrary non-inertial reference ...
