Ejecta‐Modulated Bubble Dynamics Play a Dominant Role in Stone Retropulsion

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Stone motion during laser ablation is shown to result primarily from asymmetric cavitation bubble collapse, not from ejecta recoil. This challenges long‐standing assumptions and highlights the dominant role of bubble dynamics in laser–material interactions.

Piperazine‐Functionalized Nanoparticles Enable Oral Insulin Delivery in Obese Mice

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Biologics have gained prominence as a rapidly advancing therapeutic modality for a diverse spectrum of medical conditions. Nonetheless, they are predominantly administered parenterally due to poor absorption through the gastrointestinal tract. Additionally, repeated injections of biologics such as insulin cause injection pain, leading to dose ...

From Design to Prototype: High‐Sensitivity Tri‐Mode Operation Photodetectors Based on 1T‐2H Hybrid MoS2

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work demonstrates a phase‐engineered MoS2 photodetector that dynamically switches among photocapacitive (PCC), photovoltaic (PV), and photoconductive (PC) modes. By transforming the traditionally parasitic capacitance into an active signal source, the device achieves self‐powered, high‐sensitivity detection with a fast response of 19.2 ms, and a ...

A New Order Tracking Method for Fault Diagnosis of Gearbox under Non-Stationary Working Conditions Based on In Situ Gravity Acceleration Decomposition

open access: yesApplied Sciences
Rotational speed measuring is important in order tracking under non-stational working conditions. However, sometimes, encoders or coded discs are not easy to mount due to the limited measurement environment.
