Visual memory improved by non-invasive brain stimulation
Brain Research, 2010Our visual memories are susceptible to errors, but less so in people who have a more literal cognitive style. This inspired us to attempt to improve visual memory with non-invasive brain stimulation. We applied 13 min of bilateral transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) to the anterior temporal lobes.

Biological effects of non-invasive brain stimulation
2013By incorporating the known physiology of the spinal cord epidural activity evoked by single-pulse, paired-pulse, and repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) with the anatomical and computational characteristics of the canonical model of the cerebral cortex circuit, and composed of layer II and III and layer V excitatory pyramidal cells ...

BRAIN NETWORK MODULATION WITH NON-INVASIVE BRAIN STIMULATION
Journal of Neurology, Neurosurgery & Psychiatry, 2016Background Transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) non-invasively delivers weak electrical currents cranially and can modulate cognition. However, translation into clinical use is difficult unless the neural basis of its actions is understood.

Non-invasive Brain Monitoring and Stimulation
2018The ability to excite or block brain circuits at any desired location with focused neuromodulation techniques is critically important not only for understanding how the brain works, but also for the treatment of neural diseases. Currently neuromodulation has been applied to a broad area of diseases including: stroke, traumatic brain injury, pain ...
