Hybrid Bidirectional Boost-Switched-Capacitor Converter With Elevated Voltage Gain for Energy Storage System Interfaces

open access: yesIEEE Access
This paper presents a hybrid bidirectional energy converter based on switched-capacitor technology, combining the parallel input configuration of a conventional boost converter with the series arrangement of its output capacitors.

Uniform covers at non-isolated points

open access: yes, 2011
In this paper,\ the authors define a space with an uniform base at non-isolated points, give some characterizations of images of metric spaces by boundary-compact maps, and study certain relationship among spaces with special base properties.\ The main results are the following: (1)\ $X$ is an open,\ boundary-compact image of a metric space if and only

Parent Quality of Life at Two Years Following Their Child's Completion of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia Treatment

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Parents of children treated for acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) often experience significant caregiver burden and disruption to their well‐being. While parent quality of life (QoL) during treatment is well characterized, little is known about outcomes during early survivorship.

Modeling and Control of a Bipolar DC-DC Boost Converter for Bipolar DC Microgrids

open access: yesEletrônica de Potência
Bipolar direct current (DC) microgrids have emerged as a promising alternative for efficiently integrating of renewable energy sources. However, these systems are susceptible to voltage imbalance between the positive and negative poles, especially with ...

On Multiplicities of Non-isolated Intersection Components

open access: yesPublications of the Research Institute for Mathematical Sciences, 1991
In Curves Semin. at Queen's, Vol. 2, Kingston/Can. 1981-82, Queen's Pap. Pure Appl. Math. 61, Exposé A (1982; Zbl 0599.14003), the author and \textit{J. Stückrad} constructed an intersection theory in the projective space \(\mathbb{P}^ n_ k\) \((k\) an algebraically closed field) as follows: Let \(X,Y\) be pure dimensional subschemes of \(\mathbb{P ...

A PRSZT Registry Analysis of Prognostic Factors Influencing Survival and Relapse Rates After Second Allogeneic Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation in Pediatric Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT A second allogeneic (allo‐)hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT2) is a potential curative option for pediatric patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) following relapse after first allogeneic transplantation (HSCT1), but its efficacy is limited by high relapse rates and transplant‐related toxicity in highly pretreated ...

CPX‐351 in High‐Risk Relapsed Pediatric Acute Leukemia: Real‐World Phase 1 Data Establishing the FDA‐Approved Dose

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background/Objectives Outcomes for pediatric relapsed/refractory (R/R) acute myeloid leukemia (AML) remain dismal. CPX‐351, a liposomal formulation of cytarabine and daunorubicin, may have less off‐target toxicities than traditional chemotherapies and has shown improved outcomes for adults with newly diagnosed therapy‐related AML.

Analysis of the non‐isolated step‐up network based on impedance source converter

open access: yesIET Power Electronics, 2022
A new topology of the high step‐up Z‐source converter is proposed, which does not need to work at high duty cycles to increase the voltage gain. In other words, this converter can generate high voltage gain in low duty cycles.
