The Y supersaturation in the [Ba‐Cu(I/II)‐O] transient liquid composition is the driving force toward YBCO nucleation and growth in TLAG. Tuning the initial (Ba:Cu) molar ratio in the ink composition determines the YBCO epitaxial nucleation through supersaturation control.

Influence of clay surfactants polarity on the crystallization and rheological behavior of nanocomposites of PDLLA [PDF]
The effect of clay hydrophobicity on the cold crystallization and rheological properties of nanocomposites of poly(D,L-lactic acid) (PDLLA) was investigated. Crystallization was evaluated by DSC for isothermal and non-isothermal conditions.

On a non-isothermal model for nematic liquid crystals [PDF]
A model describing the evolution of a liquid crystal substance in the nematic phase is investigated in terms of three basic state variables: the {\it absolute temperature} $\teta$, the {\it velocity field} $\ub$, and the {\it director field} $\bd$, representing preferred orientation of molecules in a neighborhood of any point of a reference domain. The

Self‐Cooling Molecular Spin Qudits
A material made of [GdEr] molecular dimers can encode a qudit and perform as a magnetic refrigerant. Microwave resonant pulses coherently manipulate its 16 spin states, while direct demagnetization measurements cool the material and a device down to temperatures below 1 K.

The non-isothermal crystallization kinetics of polypropylene after DSC calibration on cooling [PDF]
The effect of the temperature scale on the non-isothermal crystallization of a polypropylene is studied with the Nakamura and a Tobin-type equation for nonisothermal crystallization.

Solvent‐Free Thermal Defect Engineering in Molecular Frameworks With Volatile Linkers
Thermal removal of neutral volatile linkers enables precise and solvent‐free generation of metal vacancies in MOFs. This strategy affords redox‐stable, coordinatively unsaturated FeII sites with tunable spin, ligand coordination, and catalytic behavior. The approach offers a general route to design defect‐functional materials through local coordination

New insight into non-isothermal crystallization of PVA-graphene composites [PDF]
The melt crystallization of poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) and PVA composites has been a controversial subject due to inconclusive evidence and different opinions for its decomposition during crystallization.

Non-isothermal crystallization kinetics and thermal behaviour of PA12/SEBS-g-MA blends [PDF]
International audienceThe thermal behaviour and crystallization kinetics of PA12/SEBS-g-MA blends were investigated under non-isothermal and isothermal conditions using thermogravimetric analysis and differential scanning calorimetry, respectively.

Effect of Graphene Oxide on Non-Isothermal Melt Crystallization Kinetics of Poly(Trimethylene Terephthalate) [PDF]
Poly (trimethylene terephthalate) (PTT)/graphene oxide (GO) nanocomposites were prepared by melt mixing. The effect of GO on non-isothermal melt crystallization kinetics of PTT with different amounts of GO were investigated by differential scanning ...
