Copper Contact for Perovskite Solar Cells: Properties, Interfaces, and Scalable Integration

open access: yesAdvanced Energy and Sustainability Research, EarlyView.
Copper electrodes, as low‐cost, scalable contacts for perovskite solar cells, offer several advantages over precious metals such as Au and Ag, including performance, cost, deposition methods, and interfacial engineering. Copper (Cu) electrodes are increasingly considered practical, sustainable alternatives to noble‐metal contacts in perovskite solar ...

Unveiling Localized Heat in Lithium‐Ion Cells for Intelligent Temperature Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Energy and Sustainability Research, EarlyView.
Heat generation, thermal responses, and intelligent management in batteries. Lithium‐ion batteries (LIBs) power electric vehicles, portable electronics, and grid‐scale storage, yet their safety, performance, and lifetime are constrained by thermal effects.

Construction of a Two‐Dimensional Molecular Slab with a π‐Extended Hexaarylbenzene Molecule

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
A 3D shape‐persistent molecule with a hexaarylbenzene structure consisting of six naphthothiophene diimide units enables the formation of a 2D molecular slab in the solid state, leading to a 2D interactive electronic structure suitable for application to n‐type organic field‐effect transistors.

The rest-frame ultraviolet properties of radio-loud broad absorption line quasars

open access: yes, 2012
We recently presented radio observations of a large sample of radio-loud broad absorption line (BAL) quasars from the SDSS and FIRST surveys, as well as a well matched sample of unabsorbed quasars, primarily to measure their radio spectral indices and ...

Import Wheat Tenders and the Effects of the Russian Invasion

open access: yesAgribusiness, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Risk and volatility for many commodities escalated sharply following the Russian invasion of Ukraine, creating numerous uncertainties for trading firms and importers. The purpose of this study is to analyze the bidding behavior in Egyptian wheat import tenders in the pre‐ and post‐invasion periods.

Achievable directive antenna gain measurements and modeling for 60 GHz indoor links

open access: yesScientific Reports
Highly directive antennas may be a key component in millimeter wave links to offset their inherently high path losses. In cluttered scenarios such as Non-Line-Of-Sight (NLOS) indoor settings, antenna gain is degraded by the interaction of the channel ...

Real‐Time and Rapid Dynamic Missile Identification Utilizing a TiOx Memristor Array

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
Real‐time missile target identification is demonstrated using an artificial intelligence model based on step‐weighted long–short‐term memory networks and a TiOx memristor array. The approach classifies five projectile types with enhanced early‐stage prediction through data augmentation and custom training strategies. Achieving 94.4% accuracy, the model

The height dependence of temperature - velocity correlation in the solar photosphere

open access: yes, 2007
We derive correlation coefficients between temperature and line-of-sight velocity as a function of optical depth throughout the solar photosphere for the non-magnetic photosphere and a small area of enhanced magnetic activity. The maximum anticorrelation
