A non-linear analysis of Turing pattern formation.
Reaction-diffusion schemes are widely used to model and interpret phenomena in various fields. In that context, phenomena driven by Turing instabilities are particularly relevant to describe patterning in a number of biological processes.

The amplitude equation for the space-fractional Swift–Hohenberg equation
Non-local reaction–diffusion partial differential equations (PDEs) involving the fractional Laplacian have arisen in a wide variety of applications. One common tool to analyze the dynamics of classical local PDEs very close to instability is to derive ...

Non-linear oscillations in a passive magnetic suspension
The paper analyzes the dynamical behavior of a single degree of freedom (SDOF) passive magnetic suspension realized coupling traditional springs with rare-earth permanent magnets. The natural frequency of the device depends weakly on the mass due to the

The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Prostorovost, institucionalizace a kontextualita heteronormativity: studie vyjednávání neheterosexuálních identit v Česku [PDF]
The article focuses on the relationship between space and sexuality, phenomena rarely studied together in the Czech social sciences. I use heteronormativity to describe the power polarization of largely socially constructed institutionalized relations ...

Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

A Retrospection of Chaotic Phenomena in Electrical Systems
In the last decade new phenomena have been observed in all areas of non linear dynamics, principal among these being ‘Chaotic phenomena’. Chaos has been reported virtually from every scientific discipline.

MHD flow and heat transfer of an Ostwald–de Waele fluid over an unsteady stretching surface
An analysis is carried out to study the effects of variable thermo-physical properties on an unsteady MHD flow and heat transfer of an Ostwald–de Waele fluid over a stretching surface.

Promiscuous stimulation of HSP70 ATPase activity by parasite‐derived J‐domains
The malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum exports three highly homologous yet functionally divergent J‐domain proteins into human erythrocytes. Here, we show that J‐domains isolated from all three proteins effectively stimulate the ATPase activity of both endogenous host and exported parasite HSP70 chaperones.
