Quantum process identification: a method for characterizing non-markovian quantum dynamics
Established methods for characterizing quantum information processes do not capture non-Markovian (history-dependent) behaviors that occur in real systems.

Revealing the quantum nature of memory in non-Markovian dynamics on IBM quantum
We investigate memory effects in non-Markovian dynamics on superconducting quantum processors provided by IBM Quantum. We use a collision-model approach to implement suitable single- and two-qubit dynamics with a gate-based quantum circuit.

Temporal Ontology and Non-Markovian Quantum Dynamics
Recent arguments in favor of Presentism leverage Markovianity, the principle of the future’s events being able to be determined/influenced only by current events (and sufficiently near events).

Assessing Non-Markovian Quantum Dynamics [PDF]
We investigate what a snapshot of a quantum evolution--a quantum channel reflecting open system dynamics--reveals about the underlying continuous time evolution. Remarkably, from such a snapshot, and without imposing additional assumptions, it can be decided whether or not a channel is consistent with a time (in)dependent Markovian evolution, for which

Nonunital non-Markovianity of quantum dynamics [PDF]
We show that Breuer-Laine-Piilo (BLP) non-Markovianity cannot capture the dynamical information in the non-unital aspect of the quantum dynamics. Moreover, we provide a measure on the effect of the non-unitality of quantum processes on the infinitesimal non-divisibility.

Quantum Speed Limit for Non-Markovian Dynamics [PDF]
We derive a Margolus-Levitin type bound on the minimal evolution time of an arbitrarily driven open quantum system. We express this quantum speed limit time in terms of the operator norm of the nonunitary generator of the dynamics. We apply these results to the damped Jaynes-Cummings model and demonstrate that the corresponding bound is tight.

Hierarchy of quantum correlations under non-Markovian dynamics [PDF]
We investigate the dynamics of quantum correlations (QC) under the effects of reservoir memory, as a resource for quantum information and computation tasks. Quantum correlations of two-qubit systems are used for implementing quantum teleportation successfully, and for investigating how teleportation fidelity, violation of Bell-CHSH inequality, quantum ...
