Non-Markovian dynamics under time-translation symmetry

open access: yesPhysical Review Research, 2022
A dynamical symmetry is employed to determine the structure of the quantum non-Markovian time-local master equation. Such a structure is composed from two components: scalar kinetic coefficients and the standard quantum Markovian operator form.

Solvable class of non-Markovian quantum multipartite dynamics [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review A, 2021
We study a class of multipartite open quantum dynamics for systems of arbitrary number of qubits. The non-Markovian quantum master equation can involve arbitrary single or multipartite and time-dependent dissipative coupling mechanisms, expressed in terms of strings of Pauli operators.

Coherencia y entrelazamiento en dinámica no Markoviana de qubits [PDF]

open access: yesUniversitas Scientiarum, 2013
We provide a thorough analysis of the entanglement dynamics of an interacting two-qubit systemin the non-Markovian regime. In such a regime, the time scale on which the reservoir degrees offreedom evolve is either of the same order of magnitude or less ...

Quantum discord and non-Markovianity of quantum dynamics [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review A, 2012
The problem of recognizing (non-)Markovianity of a quantum dynamics is revisited through analyzing quantum correlations. We argue that instantaneously-vanishing quantum discord provides a necessary and sufficient condition for Markovianity of a quantum map. This is used to introduce a measure of non-Markovianity.

Fitting quantum noise models to tomography data [PDF]

open access: yesQuantum, 2023
The presence of noise is currently one of the main obstacles to achieving large-scale quantum computation. Strategies to characterise and understand noise processes in quantum hardware are a critical part of mitigating it, especially as the overhead of ...

Irreversibility mitigation in unital non-Markovian quantum evolutions

open access: yesPhysical Review Research, 2020
The relation between thermodynamic entropy production and non-Markovian evolutions is a matter of current research. Here, we study the behavior of the stochastic entropy production in open quantum systems undergoing unital non-Markovian dynamics.

A measure of non-Markovianity for unital quantum dynamical maps [PDF]

open access: yesQuantum Information Processing, 2015
One of the most important topics in the study of the dynamics of open quantum system is information exchange between system and environment. Based on the features of a back-flow information from an environment to a system, an approach is provided to detect non-Markovianity for unital dynamical maps.

Dephasing Dynamics in a Non-Equilibrium Fluctuating Environment

open access: yesEntropy, 2023
We performed a theoretical study of the dephasing dynamics of a quantum two-state system under the influences of a non-equilibrium fluctuating environment. The effect of the environmental non-equilibrium fluctuations on the quantum system is described by

General Non-Markovian Dynamics of Open Quantum Systems [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 2012
We present a general theory of non-Markovian dynamics for open quantum systems. We explore the non-Markovian dynamics by connecting the exact master equations with the non-equilibirum Green functions. Environmental back-actions are fully taken into account.

Equivalence between non-Markovian dynamics and correlation backflows

open access: yesNew Journal of Physics, 2020
The information encoded into an open quantum system that evolves under a Markovian dynamics is always monotonically non-increasing. Nonetheless, for a given quantifier of the information contained in the system, it is in general not clear if for all non ...
