Mussel‐Bioinspired Edible Ca2+‐Crosslinked Alginate Hydrogel Electrodes for Glucose Gastrointestinal Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A fully edible soft electrode is engineered from Ca2⁺‐crosslinked alginate integrated with polydopamine, silver nanoparticles, and food‐grade glucose oxidase. The hybrid hydrogel combines ionic and electronic conduction, enabling efficient glucose‐to‐H2O2 conversion and catalytic reduction in simulated intestinal fluid.

Convective Nonlinearity in Non-Newtonian Fluids

open access: yes, 2000
In the limit of infinite yield time for stresses, the hydrodynamic equations for viscoelastic, Non-Newtonian liquids such as polymer melts must reduce to that for solids.

Stress‐Induced Melting Controlled Failure Mechanisms of Methane Hydrate

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We study methane hydrate via nanoindentation and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), finding its regional melting and mechanical properties, challenging existing views on hydrogen‐bonded crystals. Abstract Methane hydrate, a kind of nonstoichiometric crystalline, attracted worldwide attentions as a promising substitute energy. Its Dissociation is thought

Substituent‐Based Modulation of Self‐Assembly and Immunogenicity of Amphipathic Peptides

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study systematically investigates how positional and subtle changes, such as substituents on the phenyl ring attached to short amphipathic peptides, influence their self‐assembly, fibril morphology, and immunogenic responses. ABSTRACT Self‐assembled peptide‐based biomaterials provide versatile platforms for biomedical uses, featuring customizable ...

Non-Newtonian gravity or gravity anomalies? [PDF]

open access: yes
Geophysical measurements of G differ from laboratory values, indicating that gravity may be non-Newtonian. A spherical harmonic formulation is presented for the variation of (Newtonian) gravity inside the Earth.

Modeling Compressible Non-Newtonian Chicken Flow [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
This paper addresses a few modeling issues relevant for the basic theoretical understanding of the meat flow behavior in simple geometries. We model the meat mixture as a non-Newtonian compressible fluid.
