Asynchronous uplink non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) with cyclic prefix

open access: yes2018 IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference (WCNC), 2018
Non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) has been recognized as a promising technique for future radio access. In this paper, different from [3], it is proposed that the cyclic prefix (CP) is used in the asynchronous uplink NOMA transmission for mitigating asynchronous effects. Through analyzing the inter-user interference (IUI) and residual interference,

Intracellular protein GBF1 displays significant associations with amyloid pathology in Alzheimer's disease

open access: yesAlzheimer's &Dementia, Volume 22, Issue 4, April 2026.
Abstract INTRODUCTION Despite the identification of familial Alzheimer's disease (FAD) genes and neuropathological alterations, AD displays complex genetic heterogeneity and molecular pathogenesis that warrant further investigation. GBF1 (Golgi brefeldin A resistant guanine nucleotide exchange factor 1) regulates protein trafficking, and genetic ...

Contribution of non‐orthogonal multiple access signalling to practical multibeam satellite deployments

open access: yesInternational Journal of Satellite Communications and Networking, Volume 44, Issue 1, Page 73-88, January/February 2026.
The potential gains of NOMA were evaluated in a satellite system with heterogeneous receivers, after considering the use of specific DVB‐S2X MODCODs, along with the impact of non‐linearities. It was concluded that a judicious power allocation in NOMA, jointly optimized with the IBO of the PAs, can yield significant sum‐rate gains.
