Self-oscillatory processes in thermoacoustics
An algorithm and an analytical solution to the problem of non-stationary self-oscillatory processes in a Helmholtz resonator with non-uniformly heated walls are presented. The user has the ability to change the boundary conditions of the problem.

Oscillations of differential equations with non-monotone deviating arguments
The oscillatory behavior of the solutions to a differential equation with several non-monotone arguments and nonnegative coefficients is studied, and some new oscillation criteria are given.

Gas hold-up and bubble diameters in a gassed oscillatory baffled column [PDF]
In this paper attempts are made to address how bubble behaviour in a batch oscillatory ba'ed column (OBC) contributes to the overall measured enhancement in mass transfer.

A fifth order WENO scheme for numerical simulation of shallow granular two-phase flow model
In this article, a weighted essentially non-oscillatory (WENO) scheme is implemented to simulate two-phase shallow granular flow (TPSF) model. The flow is assumed to be incompressible and it is regarded as shallow layer of granular and liquid material ...

Existence of bounded and unbounded non-oscillatory solutions for partial difference equations
The authors investigate higher-order neutral partial difference equations. The definition of a non-oscillatory around \(0\) solution is given. Conditions for the existence of bounded and unbounded non-oscillatory solutions are presented. Some new sufficient conditions for bounded non-oscillatory solutions are obtained. Examples are presented too.

Non-oscillatory Spatial Solutions Criterion for Convection-Diffusion Problem
The fact that the convection-diffusion problems are essential in nature is supported by the presence of such problems in vast number of applications in both science as well as engineering. Some of these applications involve the computational domain’s grid structure issues in the numerical experiment of fluid dynamics. The

Scale-up of oscillatory flow mixing [PDF]
Oscillatory Flow Mixing is a recent development in mixing technology which has evolved over the past decade. It has a number of similarities to other mixing technologies, particularly pulsed and reciprocating plate columns, but at the laboratory scale ...
