A New Family of Exponential Type Estimators in the Presence of Non-Response
We propose families of estimators for the population mean using an exponential function in case of non-response. This situation is examined under two cases, Case I and II. The bias, MSE and minimum MSE are separately obtained for both cases.

Use of record-linkage to handle non-response and improve alcohol consumption estimates in health survey data: a study protocol [PDF]
<p>Introduction: Reliable estimates of health-related behaviours, such as levels of alcohol consumption in the population, are required to formulate and evaluate policies.

Some Improved Estimators In Systematic Sampling Under Non-response
In this paper we have considered the problem of estimating the population mean in systematic sampling using information on an auxiliary variable in presence of non response.

Viewpoint on handling anti-TNF failure in psoriasis [PDF]
An association among the occurrence of antidrug antibodies (ADAs), diminished trough serum drug levels (TSDLs) and non-response or loss of response has been described for several tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF) blocking agents in a variety of diseases,

Improved estimator for the estimation of sensitive variable using ORRT models
In this study, we concern with the improved estimation of sensitive variable when there is non-response and measurement error on sensitive variable but the auxiliary variable is non sensitive in nature.

COMPARATIVE CHARACTERISTICS OF PATIENTS WITH RELAPSE OF CHRONIC HEPATITIS C
Background. The diagnosis of chronic hepatitis C (CHC) is established late, often at the stage of advanced fibrosis and cirrhosis of the liver. In the group at risk of developing severe complications are patients who have not responded to antiviral ...

The reasons for attrition: we (still) haven't got a clue [PDF]
This paper describes a small survey (attrition survey) undertaken to ascertain reasons of attrition and non-response in questionnaire responses from student participants as part of a larger longitudinal survey (longitudinal study). Due to difficulties in

The Oslo Health Study: The impact of self-selection in a large, population-based survey
Background Research on health equity which mainly utilises population-based surveys, may be hampered by serious selection bias due to a considerable number of invitees declining to participate. Sufficient information from all the non-responders is rarely

Multilevel modelling of refusal and non-contact in household surveys: evidence from six UK Government surveys [PDF]
We analyse household unit non-response in six major UK Government surveys by using a multilevel multinomial modelling approach. The models are guided by current conceptual frameworks and theories of survey participation.
