Non-separating subgraphs

open access: yesDiscrete Mathematics, 2013
Abstract Lovasz conjectured that there is a smallest integer f ( l ) such that for every f ( l ) -connected graph G and every two vertices s , t of G there is a path P connecting s and t such that G − V ( P ) is l -connected.

Non-Separable AF-Algebras [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
We give two pathological phenomena for non-separable AF-algebras which do not occur for separable AF-algebras. One is that non-separable AF-algebras are not determined by their Bratteli diagrams, and the other is that there exists a non-separable AF-algebra which is prime but not primitive.

Planar inviscid flows in a channel of finite length : washout, trapping and self-oscillations of vorticity [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
The paper addresses the nonlinear dynamics of planar inviscid incompressible flows in the straight channel of a finite length. Our attention is focused on the effects of boundary conditions on vorticity dynamics.

Non-separated states from squeezed dark-state polaritons in electromagnetically-induced-transparency media

open access: yes, 2014
Within the frame of quantized dark-state polaritons in electromagnetically-induced-transparency media, noise fluctuations in the quadrature components are studied.

A Note on Pseudo-Hermitian Systems with Point Interactions and Quantum Separability [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
We study the quantum entanglement and separability of Hermitian and pseudo-Hermitian systems of identical bosonic or fermionic particles with point interactions.

measures on non-separable metric spaces [PDF]

open access: yesIllinois Journal of Mathematics, 1967
The main purpose of this note is to give a simpler and more general definition of “weak” or “weak-star” convergence of certain measures on non-separable metric spaces, and to prove its equivalence with the convergence introduced in [1] for the cases considered there.

Job Matching on non-separated Occupational Labour Markets [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
This work refers to analyses of matching processes on occupational labour markets in Germany. Up to now, all studies in this field are based on the crucial assumption of separate occupational labour markets.

A Homology Theory for Etale Groupoids [PDF]

open access: yes, 1998
Etale groupoids arise naturally as models for leaf spaces of foliations, for orbifolds, and for orbit spaces of discrete group actions. In this paper we introduce a sheaf homology theory for etale groupoids.

Why and When Are Evidence‐Based Interventions Adopted in Paediatric Supportive Care? A Qualitative Exploration of the Determinants of Photobiomodulation Implementation

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Oral mucositis is a common and debilitating side effect of childhood cancer and stem cell transplant treatments. It affects the quality of life of children and young people (CYP) and places a strain on services. Photobiomodulation is recommended for oral mucositis prevention in international guidance but is poorly implemented in UK ...
