Watermark performance contrast between contourlet and non-subsampled contourlet transform

2012 IEEE International Conference on Information and Automation, 2012
The performance between the watermark scheme using contourlet tranform and that using non-subsampled contourlet transform (NSCT) is compared by a conventional watermark algorithm in this paper, which is rarely mentioned in existing literatures. The transparency analyses with subjective and objective evaluation indicators are performed on watermark ...

Image fusion based on object region detection and Non-Subsampled Contourlet Transform

Computers and Electrical Engineering, 2017
Abstract This paper presents a new fusion algorithm for infrared (IR) and visible light (ViS) images by combining object region detection with the Non-Subsampled Contourlet Transform (NSCT). First, the saliency map for the IR image is acquired with saliency detection.

A preprocessing method based on non-subsampled contourlet transform

SPIE Proceedings, 2009
This paper focuses on preprocessing methods for the infrared images. Due to noises, low contrast and local difference of materials, Forward-looking Infrared targets have a great difference of local gray levels. Such different gray levels add the difficulty of targets detection and may lead a decrease in accuracy and rate of detection in Gray-based ...

Non-subsampled Contourlet Transform Based Seismic Signal De-noising

2009 WRI World Congress on Computer Science and Information Engineering, 2009
Surface waves are one of the main types of coherent noise in seismic surveys, and standard filtering methods, such as F-K filtering, are not always effective. In this paper, we describe a non-subsampled contourlet transform (NSCT) based method for surface wave de-noising. The NSCT works like a “local F-Kfilter” and is implemented in time spatial domain.
