Fusing Local Patterns of Gabor and Non-subsampled Contourlet Transform for Face Recognition

Two pan-sharpening methods based on the non-subsampled contourlet transform (NSCT) are proposed. NSCT is very efficient in representing the directional information and capturing intrinsic geometrical structures of the objects. It has characteristics of high resolution, shift-invariance, and high directionality.

2010This paper introduces a novel algorithm that combines the Non-Subsampled Contourlet Transform (NSCT) and morphological operators to reduce the multiplicative noise of synthetic aperture radar images.
