Lecture Notes in Electrical Engineering, 2015A fusion method based on non-subsampled contourlet transform (NSCT) in compressed sensing was proposed. The method decomposes two or more original images using NSCT, and gets the sparse matrix by the NSCT coefficients sparse representation, and fuses the sparse matrices with the coefficients absolute value maximum scheme.

The support vector machines (SVMs), which have demonstrated excellent performance in a variety of pattern recognition problems, are used as classifiers.

NSCT shows better performance compared with usual multi-scale decomposition for its multi-scale, shift invariance, multi-direction and efficient capture of geometric structures.
