Summary: Non-uniform hypergraphs are a generalization of hypergraphs in which not all edges need to have the same cardinality. It allows them to support a more complex data structure. In this paper, we extend some results for non-uniform hypergraphs and generalize the spectral results for uniform hypergraphs to non-uniform hypergraphs.

Non-uniform frequency domain for optimal exploitation of non-uniform sampling
Journal of Magnetic Resonance, 2010Random sampling of NMR signal, not limited by Nyquist Theorem, yields up to thousands-fold gain in the experiment time required to obtain desired spectral resolution. Discrete Fourier transform (DFT), that can be used for processing of randomly sampled datasets, provides rarely exploited possibility to introduce irregular frequency domain.

Two-Way Non-Uniform Finite Automata
International Journal of Foundations of Computer Science, 2021We consider two-tape automata where one tape contains the input word [Formula: see text] and the other an advice string [Formula: see text]. Such an automaton recognizes a language [Formula: see text] if there is an advice function for which every word on the input tape is correctly classified. This model has been introduced by Küçük et al.

Continuous or discontinuous changes in thermophysical and optical properties of materials significantly change laser-induced temperature distributions with respect to those estimated for plane uniform (homogeneous) substrates. Continuous changes in physical properties may be related to temperature dependences of material parameters or to slow changes ...

Non-uniform MR image reconstruction based on non-uniform FFT
SPIE Proceedings, 2007A Non-Uniform Fast Fourier Transform (NUFFT) based method for non-Cartesian k-space data reconstruction is presented. For Cartesian K-space data, as we all know, image can be reconstructed using 2DFFT directly. But, as far as know, this method has not been universally accepted nowadays because of its inevitable disadvantages.

Exponentially tapered non-uniform transmission lines
IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, 1997We solve the transmission line equations for a non-uniform transmission line (NUTL). The analytical method used is different to the Kuroda's one. First we find the solution in terms of voltage and current waves, then the expression of input impedance that allow us to find the R=const and X=const loci.

Although the linear scale-space representation generated by smoothing with the rotationally symmetric Gaussian kernel provides a theoretically well-founded framework for handling image structures at different scales, the scale-space smoothing has the negative property that it leads to shape distortions. For example, smoothing across “object boundaries”
