Interpolating Triangular Meshes Using a Non-Uniform, Non-Stationary Loop Subdivision

open access: yesMathematics
This paper presents a novel non-uniform, non-stationary Loop subdivision that directly interpolates arbitrary initial triangular meshes. This subdivision is derived by assigning distinct parameters for “vertex-point” and “edge-point” generation within ...

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

Non-Uniform Hypercoherences

open access: yesElectronic Notes in Theoretical Computer Science, 2003
AbstractIn [BE01], Bucciarelli and Ehrhard propose a general tool for building a wide class of models of linear logic where a formula is interpreted as a set (the web) together with a kind of phase valued “coherence relation”. These interpretations are non-uniform in the sense that the semantics of a proof makes no assumption about the behaviour of its

Non‐uniform image blind deblurring by two‐stage fully convolution network

open access: yesIET Image Processing, 2020
Deep neural networks have recently demonstrated high performance for deblurring. However, few methods are designed for both non‐uniform image blur estimation and removal with highly efficient.

Organizing the interface—Plasma membrane architecture and receptor dynamics in virus‐cell interactions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Plasma membranes contain dynamic nanoscale domains that organize lipids and receptors. Because viruses operate at similar scales, this architecture shapes early infection steps, including attachment, receptor engagement, and entry. Using influenza A virus and HIV‐1 as examples, we highlight how receptor nanoclusters, multivalent glycan interactions ...

Isospectrals of non-uniform Rayleigh beams with respect to their uniform counterparts [PDF]

open access: yesRoyal Society Open Science, 2018
In this paper, we look for non-uniform Rayleigh beams isospectral to a given uniform Rayleigh beam. Isospectral systems are those that have the same spectral properties, i.e. the same free vibration natural frequencies for a given boundary condition.

Onsite Non-Line-of-Sight Imaging via Online Calibration

open access: yesIEEE Photonics Journal, 2022
There has been increasing interest in deploying non-line-of-sight (NLOS) imaging systems for recovering objects hidden behind corners. Existing solutions need to calibrate the imaging system using auxiliary apparatus and additional detectors.

New stable phase of non uniform black strings in ${AdS}_d$

open access: yes, 2008
We consider the non uniform $AdS$ black string equations in arbitrary number of dimension in a perturbative approach up to order 2 and in a non perturbative. We restrict the study in the perturbative approach to the backreacting modes, since they provide

pH‐mediated activation of the lysosomal arginine sensor SLC38A9

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Cells monitor nutrient levels via the lysosomal transporter SLC38A9 to activate the mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1). This study reveals that SLC38A9 function is regulated by pH. We identified histidine 544 as a critical pH sensor that undergoes conformational changes to control amino acid efflux from lysosomes; therefore, it ...

In vitro models of cancer‐associated fibroblast heterogeneity uncover subtype‐specific effects of CRISPR perturbations

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Development of therapies targeting cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) necessitates preclinical model systems that faithfully represent CAF–tumor biology. We established an in vitro coculture system of patient‐derived pancreatic CAFs and tumor cell lines and demonstrated its recapitulation of primary CAF–tumor biology with single‐cell transcriptomics ...
