AN INTRODUCTION TO QCD AT NON–ZERO TEMPERATURE AND DENSITY [PDF]

open access: greenQuark-Gluon Plasma and Heavy Ion Collisions, 2002
This is an informal overview of methods and results on the QCD phase diagram and lattice termodynamics aimed at specialists in nearby fields.

Lattice Landau Gauge Gluon Propagator at Finite Temperature: Non-zero Matsubara Frequencies and Spectral Densities [PDF]

open access: greenActa Physica Polonica B Proceedings Supplement, 2017
The lattice Landau gauge gluon propagator at finite temperature is computed including the non-zero Matsubara frequencies. Furthermore, the K ll n-Lehmann representation is inverted and the corresponding spectral density evaluated using a Tikhonov regularisation together with the Morozov discrepancy principle.

The Staggered Fermion for the Gross-Neveu Model at Non-Zero Temperature and Density

open access: goldJournal of Modern Physics, 2021
The 2+1d Gross-Neveu model with finite density and finite temperature are studied by the staggered fermion discretization. The kinetic part of this staggered fermion in momentum space is used to build the relation between the staggered fermion and Wilson-like fermion.

The density matrix renormalization group for a quantum spin chain at non-zero temperature [PDF]

open access: greenJournal of Physics: Condensed Matter, 1996
We apply a recent adaptation of White's density matrix renormalisation group (DMRG) method to a simple quantum spin model, the dimerised $XY$ chain, in order to assess the applicabilty of the DMRG to quantum systems at non-zero temperature. We find that very reasonable results can be obtained for the thermodynamic functions down to low temperatures ...

The four-Fermi model in three dimensions at non-zero density and temperature [PDF]

open access: greenNuclear Physics B, 1993
The Four Fermi model with discrete chiral symmetry is studied in three dimensions at non-zero chemical potential and temperature using the Hybrid Monte Carlo algorithm. The number of fermion flavors is chosen large $(N_f=12)$ to compare with analytic results.

Thermodynamics of two-flavour lattice QCD with an improved Wilson quark action at non-zero temperature and density [PDF]

open access: greenJournal of Physics G: Nuclear and Particle Physics, 2007
We report the current status of our systematic studies of the QCD thermodynamics by lattice QCD simulations with two flavors of improved Wilson quarks. We evaluate the critical temperature of two flavor QCD in the chiral limit at zero chemical potential and show the preliminary result.
