Nonautonomous Graphs and Topological Entropy of Nonautonomous Lorenz Systems

International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos, 2015
In this work, we associate a p-periodic nonautonomous graph to each p-periodic nonautonomous Lorenz system with finite critical orbits. We develop Perron–Frobenius theory for nonautonomous graphs and use it to calculate their entropy. Finally, we prove that the topological entropy of a p-periodic nonautonomous Lorenz system is equal to the entropy of ...

Structural Stability of Nonautonomous Systems

Differential Equations, 2003
The author proves the existence of a {near-identity} time-dependent homeomorphism between a nonautonomous equation \[ \dot{x} = X(t,x) \] and a perturbed system \[ \dot{x} = X(t,x) + Y(t,x), \] which maps solutions of the first equation to solutions of the second equation and vice versa with the inverse.

Nonautonomous Projected Dynamical Systems

AIP Conference Proceedings, 2009
This paper shows the existence of nonautonomous projected dynamical systems in Hilbert spaces. These systems arise most recently in the work being done on evolutionary variational inequalities (EVI) and help in extending the mix between the dynamics given by EVI and the disequilibrium evolution of equilibrium problems.

Nonautonomous Dynamical Systems

2016
It was emphasized in Chap. 2 that the formulation of an autonomous dynamical system as a group (or semigroup) of mappings is based on the fact that such systems depend only on the elapsed time \(t - t_0\) instead of the starting time \(t_0\) or current time t independently.

Nonautonomous Bifurcations in Nonlinear Impulsive Systems

Differential Equations and Dynamical Systems, 2016
The authors have studied non-autonomous trans-critical and pitchfork bifurcations in impulsive systems [Electron. J. Qual. Theory Differ. Equ. 2013, Paper No. 74, 23 p. (2013; Zbl 1340.34139); Miskolc Math. Notes 14, No. 3, 737--748 (2013; Zbl 1299.34143); Electron. J. Qual. Theory Differ. Equ. 2016, Paper No. 1, 13 p.

Dissipative Nonautonomous Systems

2017
Nonautonomous dynamical systems and their omega limit sets are defined. The concepts of positive and negative asymptotic invariance are defined. The omega limit sets for dissipative nonautonomous dynamical systems are shown to be positive and negative asymptotic invariant under certain conditions.

CHAOTIFICATION OF NONAUTONOMOUS DISCRETE DYNAMICAL SYSTEMS

International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos, 2011
This paper focuses on the chaotification of nonautonomous discrete dynamical systems in finite-dimensional and general Banach spaces by feedback control techniques. Several chaotification schemes with general controllers and sawtooth function are established, respectively, where the controllers are time-invariant.
