Nonbinary codeword-stabilized quantum codes [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review A, 2008
The codeword stabilized (CWS) quantum codes formalism presents a unifying approach to both additive and nonadditive quantum error-correcting codes (arXiv:0708.1021 [quant-ph]), but only for binary states. Here we generalize the CWS framework to the nonbinary case (of both prime and nonprime dimension) and map the search for nonbinary quantum codes to a

Fidelity of a t-error correcting quantum code with more than t errors [PDF]

open access: yes, 2000
It is important to study the behavior of a t-error correcting quantum code when the number of errors is greater than t, because it is likely that there are also small errors besides t large correctable errors.

A Meta‐Analysis and Systematic Review of Single‐Session Interventions for Eating Disorders

open access: yesInternational Journal of Eating Disorders, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background There is a critical gap between the need for eating disorder (ED) treatment and provider availability. A m-ary linear feedback shift register with binary logic [PDF]

open access: yes, 1973
A family of m-ary linear feedback shift registers with binary logic is disclosed. Each m-ary linear feedback shift register with binary logic generates a binary representation of a nonbinary recurring sequence, producible with a m-ary linear feedback ...

Social Comparison and Its Association With Disordered Eating Symptoms: A Systematic Review and Meta‐Analysis

open access: yesInternational Journal of Eating Disorders, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Social comparison has been widely implicated in the etiology and maintenance of body dissatisfaction and eating disorders. At the same time, however, the magnitude of this relationship remains unclear, with existing studies varying widely in methodology, measurement, and sample characteristics.

Correcting a Fraction of Errors in Nonbinary Expander Codes with Linear Programming

open access: yes, 2009
A linear-programming decoder for \emph{nonbinary} expander codes is presented. It is shown that the proposed decoder has the maximum-likelihood certificate properties. It is also shown that this decoder corrects any pattern of errors of a relative weight
