Thermodynamic formalism for Haar systems in noncommutative integration: transverse functions and entropy of transverse measures [PDF]
We consider here a certain class of groupoids obtained via an equivalence relation (the so-called subgroupoids of pair groupoids). We generalize to Haar systems in these groupoids some results related to entropy and pressure which are well known in thermodynamic formalism.

κ-Minkowski-deformation of U(1) gauge theory
We construct a noncommutative kappa-Minkowski deformation of U(1) gauge theory, following a general approach, recently proposed in JHEP 08 (2020) 041.

Eigenvalues of singular measures and Connes’ noncommutative integration
In a domain \Omega\subset \mathbb{R}^{\operatorname{N}} we consider compact, Birman–Schwinger type operators of the form \operatorname{T}_{P,\mathfrak{A}}=\mathfrak{A}^* P \mathfrak{A}

A Dialogue on Revolutions and Revolutionaries in Science: A Perspective From Quantum Mechanics
ABSTRACT We discuss the notions of scientific revolutions and revolutionaries in the context of the Relativity Revolution and of the First, Second, and Third Quantum Revolutions. We conclude that at the core of the question of what qualifies as a revolution and revolutionary is an assessment of the gradients of knowledge accumulation over time, both at

On the Meaning of Localization in Non‐Local Quantum Field Theory
In non‐local quantum field theory nature does not necessarily allow objects or events to be localized to exact mathematical points. Instead any physical measurement has a built‐in finite resolution set by the non‐locality scale. Spacetime remains continuous and Lorentz‐covariant, but below this scale pointlike localization becomes an idealization ...

Quantum Frustration as a Protection Mechanism in Non‐Topological Majorana Qubits
Quantum frustration is proposed as a robust protection mechanism for non‐topological ‐junction qubit. By leveraging distinct spatial profiles, co‐located Majorana modes couple to independent environments, creating incompatible pointer bases that suppress decoherence.

ABSTRACT The Lie group SE3$SE\left(3\right)$ of isometric orientation‐preserving transformation is used for modeling multibody systems, robots, and Cosserat continua. The use of these models in numerical simulation and optimization schemes necessitates the exponential map, its right‐trivialized differential (often referred to as the tangent operator ...

Abstract In this paper, we study traces of Hecke operators on Drinfeld modular forms of level 1 in the case A=Fq[T]$A = \mathbb {F}_q[T]$. We deduce closed‐form expressions for traces of Hecke operators corresponding to primes of degree at most 2 and provide algorithms for primes of higher degree.

Attribute Implication Bases From Galois Connection Structures
ABSTRACT Modeling knowledge systems by determining relationships among key variables have been and currently is a fundamental and nontrivial challenge in real‐world scenarios. Many approaches have been developed to reach this goal, but many of them are heuristic and require of alternative procedures to provide robust and tractable rules.
